Growing up in the "South" I saw what it was like to have to govern yourself and those around you. I grew up in a small community outside Louisville, Kentucky. This was a close group of individuals who had no problem enforcing their laws. It was here that I learned the difference between right and wrong. To stand up for your community and to protect those around you. My family hit some hard times financially, and after my parents passed. I decided to take a chance and move as far from Kentucky as I could. That is how I landed here, San Andreas.
I am here to protect and serve. I will make this my full time job. I can work a minimum 5 days a week. I am here if more days are needed.
As I said before. I am here to serve and protect. What I think sets me aside from other applicants though, is that I am not only here to protect law abiding citizens. But I am here to help with the rehabilitation process of those accused and serving time. I do not see them as numbers or a statistic, but rather as a human being in need. They have most likely never had the up bringing that would nurture a healthy and positive lifestyle. I believe it starts with the Department of Corrections to assist these people in turning their lives around and away from a life of crime. Ultimately, I hope to bring honor, respect, and pride to the San Andreas Department of Corrections.
I am able to see all situations and obstacles from a different perspective. This helps especially in difficult and high pressure situations.
I firmly believe that I can bring a lot to the SADOC. My main characteristics would be Patience, Dedication, and Professionalism. I understand that when I put that uniform on, I am not only representing myself, but I am representing the entire Department of Corrections and all government agencies. I will be patient when dealing with inmates, who typically will not be in a good mood. I will be dedicated to this job and working to improve the department every day. Lastly, I will represent the department with utmost professionalism, every day earning respect from inmates and citizens.
