I moved here from Idaho recently in an attempt to escape my past. When I moved here I didn’t really have a plan, and I’ve been bouncing around for the past few months doing freelance work. I recently applied for my firearms permit in San Andreas. Where I’m from we don’t need permits so it’s a bit of a foreign concept to me, but I’m hoping that I get contacted soon about my interview. My ultimate goal is to become the ultimate embodiment of capitalism. I have good social skills, I don’t get easily intimidated, and I won’t back down under pressure.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
As much as I can, probably around 10-15 hours a week.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I really want to pursue being a prison guard. I want to make sure that the bad guys stay behind bars and serve their debt to society by any means necessary. I also really love the idea of private prisons, and I’m hoping that some day I can work my way up to being a warden. You should admire me because I have an extremely strong work ethic. Even if I don’t enjoy what I’m doing, I do it to the best of my abilities. There’s no reason in living life if you don’t do everything to your best – or at least that’s the way I see it. But that shouldn’t be an issue, I’m quite positive that I’m going to absolutely adore being a corrections officer. We have to keep those horrible horrible people behind bars. What good are the police without corrections officers? Corrections Officers are the backbone of the world, without them the world would be a massive clusterfuck.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I can stay calm under pressure and don’t freak out easily.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (Minimum 75 words)?
I know how to use guns, and I have an application for my firearms permit open. Also I used to be a pilot back when I was living in Idaho so if you ever need a heli pilot I can help with that.

I did some freelance work when I was a helicopter for the Idaho department of fish and game when they needed an injured moose transported to a veterinary clinic but no, I have never been officially employed by any government agencies.

Failed Application

We believe you are currently unfit to be part of the SADOC due to the lack of effort in your application.
The San Andreas Department of Corrections is more than a place for retribution, we have rehabilitation programs for any inmate that is seeking growth and change, allowing them to be separated from the factors the made them commit a crime in the first place. Criminal rehabilitation is based on the ideas that people are not inherently bad, but instead they are taught to make wrong decisions by environmental influences. (Re-read your answer in Traits & Motivations Section, Question 3)
