My name is Gareth Delacroix, my friends call me GD. My father Derek was a detective in the LCPD (Liberty City Police Department) and he was renowned for catching the most historical criminals in the city. Such as the Northwood Ripper. One day whilst attending a crime he was fatally shot and killed. I was only 7 years old. My mum turned to alcohol when I was 18 years old, and it was my job to pull her out of the darkness which I did. My ambition in life is to one day become a policeman which my dad would be proud of and a person which my mum can smile about and say, "that's my son!" I am a strong willed and dedicated person who never leaves a job half finished. In addition to this I care a lot about my friends and always strive to do the right thing. No matter what it takes one day I will be a lead detective in this city!

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
When I am not taking in the rays and fishing at the pier or just hanging out with friends. I will be keeping a close eye on the department (minimum 5 hours a week). In addition to this I will aim to build a rapport with inmates, although I know this is not always possible however. Despite this I want the inmates to know they are people as well and will treat them as such. My main aim in doing this is to hopefully reform the people in the correctional facility.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I am looking to join you because I strongly believe in prisoner reformation. In addition to this, I one day wish to join Los Santos Police Department and I believe this would be an excellent start to my career within Law Enforcement. I would be a perfect fit because I am fantastic with people and work fantastically under pressure. Moreover, I am a quick thinker and possess the ability to make quick but rational decisions when the opportunity arises. I have excellent physical and mental health; therefore, I could cope very well with the physical and mental demands which this job requires. In addition to this I have fantastic attention to detail. Subsequently this will help me stamp out any issue before it escalates. Finally, I am a quick and keen learner. Consequently, I will learn everything required for this job very quickly.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I always keep cool, calm and collected when in stressful and pressurised situations. Subsequently I can still handle and resolve the situation to the best of my capabilities.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I possess an A in physical education and came 1st for 3 years in a row towards the end of my Highschool years. In addition to this I always think with a clear head and treat people with respect. However, I can also be strict when needed. Additionally, I am an extremely hard worker, and I am always dedicated to my job. Finally, I know how to build a rapport with people and have exceptionally good attention to detail. Which will help me limit serious issues within the job role.
