Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
My name is Jack Robert Byrd. I grew up in Dallas Texas with my dad and brother. When I turned 24 I joined the Dallas PD. I continued my career as an officer for a bit until my brother told me about los santos and I decided to move down here. When I moved here I started off my career as an oil miner and I was baffled by how many people I saw get arrested even my first day at work. I got used to the crime here and I decided to start working the toll booths. As I have been working at the booths I still continue to see police cars fly 200 mph down the road chasing people. That got me thinking that the prison must be flooding with new prisoners everyday.
I plan on working at least 3 hours a day 5 days a week and I have also started looking into mental health care and I really think that could help me reason with the inmates if I devote energy to that everyday.
I really want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections just to help out prisoners and convince them not to continue committing crimes while also keeping them in check in the case any fights happen or anything along those lines. I would also like to just be a part of the government system and actually make a change in the city instead of just being a bystander. I think one reason I would be better than other applicants would be my history in the force in texas so I know how to use force on inmates while also not being too aggressive. I also think I can help reason with inmates better than other officers who might just go in and use brute force.
The first thing I do is make sure not to freakout and panic. I like to have a bit of situational awareness and think about the best ways to handle the situation and not run in without a plan. I personally would say that I can handle high stress situations fairly well.
My most useful trait would definitely be how I treat the inmates. I dont like to be their friend but I also do not put up with any crap. My background with the PD I believe also greatly helps yall compared to other employees with no background in law enforcement. I also am studying mental health books right now and I strongly believe that could help out inmates in the system learn there lesson and not become a repeat customer like many citizens of los santos.

When I used to live in another city in texas I got the position as a PD officer for about 4 years before I resigned and came back here. While I was in the force I had the 2nd most lawful arrests in the city.

/me is for character activities and is used only about IC. examples: /me looks the plate of vehicle, /me laughs
/do sometimes is for show somethings you can't see like: "/do windows would be up" or sometimes it is for getting approval of doing an action. something like in a person try to rob you. "/me would attempt to search the man", then they would do "/do would you allow it?" .... and you could respond with "/do Yes" or "/do No (you need to write why he can't)"tt
