Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I grew up in Vice City, had a fairly normal upbringing. Father was a mechanic and my mother worked at the 24/7. I used to help my father in his garage on the weekends so I have a basic idea on how to fix engines and other things. My parents are both still living in Vice City. I guess the city was just too busy or something, I never really enjoyed it there, San Andreas seems to be a little more calm, with many places to go to get away from the hustle and bustle.
I attended high school there, in which I got good grades in my English and math.
I did my driving test, and also an advanced driving course.
I moved to San Andreas a few years ago and started doing bus driving, money transport and other driving related jobs. This is how I got to know San Andreas so well. I bought my own car and really enjoyed driving. I'd always had my heart set in joining law enforcement from when I was younger, but I did a few months as a security guard which I really enjoyed, and that's why I have an interest to join the Department of Corrections.
I am now ready to start my career in Law Enforcement, and hope to progress further within that field. It's always been a life-time ambition for me, and the Department of Corrections here in San Andreas is definitely a great place to start.
I will endeavour to put maximum effort into the department as much as possible. I'm a keen worker, and outside of employment I don't particularly have many hobbies besides finishing. I enjoy interacting with people in the work place and giving back to the community as much as I can.
I've always had a keen interest in joining Law Enforcement. I had looked at the police force some years ago, and while that's still an ambition of mine, I also enjoy working with people who have the potential to do better in the world under the right guidance. I see myself as a positive role model for people who have taken a wrong direction in their life, and perhaps, with time, I can help to make a difference in peoples lives while they're in a place where they have time to think about the things they've done, reflect on it, and figure out new and different ways to make positive changes to their lives.
I enjoy working with people, I am incredibly calm and collected, and I am pro-active in regards to keep people safe, and ensuring people are following the rules and laws. This probably comes from my experience as security guard.
I tend to pause, check my surroundings, take a breath and think about what my next moves are, and how my actions could affect me after the situation is dealt with. I think it's important to always be aware of your next moves, and take appropriate action that won't negatively affect you afterwards.
I offered my services as private freelance security to civilians who needed to safeguard property. This was a self employed job but it taught me the benefits of pro-active security, and how to de-escalate situations. Whilst I understand a security guard role is far from what the Department of Corrections requires, I feel that this kind of work has set me up to better understand the role within the Department of Corrections, and will definitely help me out during my training.
