Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I was born in Canada, since being a young kid I have dreamt of being something bigger than a regular job. I have worked in the city for about 2 weeks now. My father was a police officer which inspired me as well, I have one sister, a middle class family. I am a simple man with intentions to make a difference in the world, strives to be the best at all times, helps to help people, and gives them second chances. I believe people can learn from their mistakes. Worked at many different jobs but never found any of them interesting or that helpful to improve human civilization. Except for Bayview, as I currently work there, I got to learn a lot and would like to expand my work ethnic and open up a new chapter in my life.
I will dedicate most of my time in this department if I get hired. I will always put my 100% effort in everything I do. At least 14hrs per week.
I want to join SADOC because I believe that people should be able to have second chances and I will provide aid and help to those who need it and get them back on track in becoming an amazing person. I always had a passion towards becoming involved with the Law enforcement, joining the SADOC will give me the opportunity to connect with more people and will give me the opportunity to help those that need aid. Seeing that I am able to help others, it makes my day. Giving them a better experience and perspective in life, and helping them start over. You should hire me over others because I own up to my own actions, I have patience, determined to help and improve the incarcerated people instead of being that person that only traps them and not help them. Many of the SADOC officers just keeps the inmate in and out, doesn't communicate or pays attention to helping in what they need, giving them aid. I will be that person that helps the inmate be a better person so they can start over.
I handle them with ease as I have many different experiences that have trained me to improve in these stressful situations. I mentioned above that I work for Bayview. At Bayview its gets really busy and stressful, how I handle it is take one step at a time focuses on one objective at a time. In all, I have been through enough stressful or high pressure situations to have an idea of how to handle them correctly and calmly.
I have qualified for BLS, I have many traits such as patience, gives time to the inmates to change and believes in them, I can handle high stress situations very well, I will not keep secrets, will also report to the high commands or other staff members about any attempts of escapes etc. I will own up to my own actions like I stated before, if I did something wrong I will admit it and improve on what I did wrong. I will not blame or accuse anyone else. I am very hard working, always focused on the task provided and never slacks off. Will always come to work with excitement and eagerness to help others. Never late, always on time, and always willing to learn.
