My name is Requis Towalawi, I am 22 years old and I was born in South Africa and have recently started to work in the city, I am looking for a long term job in order to further my experience throughout law enforcement and make a name for myself. I was born with my two parents and have a brother. We are a middle-class. I have always been interested in becoming a member of law enforcement and am hoping to start early. I have always been motivated to help people as I would consider myself a very easy going and kind hearted individual.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I will ensure that many hours of hard work and dedication will be used to better myself and make sure I become the best employee possible. I would like to do this as I aspire to become a future member of the LSPD further down the line in my career. Before working for the police force i believe that this would be a great learning curve in order to get a good idea on how to stay calm and deal with criminals in a law abiding, proffesional and respectful manner. I also am in need of a good salary in order to support my family and friends when needed.
I am very interested in this line of work, enjoying it means I will always be ready to go to work. I will always put my full effort into the job, and even drain my energy to ensure it is completed to the highest standard.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
First of all, I am very determined. If I put my mind to something I will do it to the best of my ability, to assist others and to ensure criminals are safe inside DOC. I definitely think my experience with criminals in the past puts me in the right position as I know how to work with any type of individual no matter how dangerous or mentally changed they may be. I have been told many stories by a friend called Zak Thomas. He used to tell me about his experience in DOC and what people are like, so I have listened to many interesting stories that will make me better equipped from the start. I believe that I would be great in this role as I have great people skills and can adapt to any conversation needed. I have the ability to not only be strict but can always be extremely reasonable and know the right time to change between this.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
I ensure that whatever role I am assigned to will be done to this best of my ability and if there is anything that I could do to improve the actions I have taken I will make sure that I take any neccessary learning curves. I will make sure that I handle any situations thats is high pressure and stressful calmly and collectivly and if any assistance is needed or I am in a tough situation I will make sure to do things in the correct way. I believe I will be excellent under these conditions.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I am Honest, which is key in a job like this. If any prisoners are doing something wrong I will report it to anyone who wants to know the full story. I am very trustful and can be responsible for myself. Trustfulness I think is really important, as prisoners need to be treated properly and higher-ups need to know I handle situations.
As mentioned above, I am determined and will do whatever it takes to get the job done, for the safety of my colleagues and the prisoners. Finally, I am cautious, so I can see any dangers ahead and will act quickly enough before situations escalate.

Yes, I have been in many occassions where I have had to help a member of the public or another friend if injured and have had to work together with other citizens to ensure full safety of the person and to make sure they are transported to a hospital as quickly but as safetly as possible.

Yes I have 3 reckless driving misdemeanors which were only on in my experience in the city and have been a calm and collective law abiding citizen since then.
