As a youth, I grew up around cop movies from the late 90s such as k-911, die hard & bad boys - All of them fueling the desire of a childhood dream which was to become a police officer. As I grew into my early teenage years, I had the capabilities of shaping my future with more clarity.... A police officer alongside their other ranked comrades catch the bad guys, but correctional officers are the ones whom shall interact the most with the incarcerated. As young adult, I moved into the current Los Santos doing jobs that vary from post offices and being a route driver.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
As a trainee, I intend to spend most of my time acquiring both knowledge & experience as much as possible - accumulating all with the end goal of becoming an honorary correctional officer.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I could just provide the most heard and basic answer here, but the truth is even making the choice of becoming a correctional officer is already a tough decision alone. I believe it's not all about controlling a housing unit. Most Inmates like control too, they appreciate the feeling of security & regularity.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
It's universally known that a human being shows his/hers true colors under pressure. Also I will reiterate that I'm prone to errors but For this particular job, I've had the fortune of being faced against situations that required both fast & critical thinking of which I had a positive outcome on most of them. I'm naturally calm as well which does contribute to an advantage.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
● I am fluent in Portuguese & english and do understand most of Spanish.
● A developed diverse social skills Based on the interactions I've had with people whom come from different backgrounds (e.g - will be useful to understand plotting from gang members).
● Not very active in sports as I used to be but I am physically capable for the job in high stake situations (e.g long shifts; On foot persuit, etc.).
● A very attentive Individual.
● Educated enough to place morals & ethics first when it cones to situations where I have to resort to force.
● Very welcoming into embracing new knowledge as well as I am willing to sharing mine within the circle.

I used to own a small businesses focused in designing of which was composed of four members. Having an open mind and being willing to accept other people's ideas as a form to adapt into your own idea, was imperative in order to succeed as a group.

Former Claude, now renamed simply to 'Clyde'
Claude had little to no background story with the intent to purposely remain it that way not knowing that in 2001 all of it would change.
Claude was a mute with aspiring dreams of making money the easy way, wanting to live happily ever after with the woman who left him for dead during a robbery gone wrong. He fought his way up the criminal underworld of liberty city whilst setting his differences with his former Bonnie to his Clyde...
Traveling to Los Santos under the new name with hopes of dramatically changing his entire self to fit the standards of what is deemed as 'Civil' within a society. Driven by a new code, being an ethical and moral individual is what keeps Clyde sane whilst travelling as far as possible from the depths of his past self.

A Correctional officer guards a prison yes, but this is a career that also demands much more. The job consists of - Investigating prison crimes, transporting inmates, providing informal counseling, write reports, oversee correctional programming, supervise working inmates and serve as liaisons with the public. Without correctional officers, the criminal justice system would not be able to fulfill its missions to keep communities safe and reduce recidivism. As I see fit, I'm in it for both idealistic and practical reasons:
•Helping people - I believe we can provide discipline and stability to people whose lives have neither. Being a correctional officer means more than punishing people. It means serving as a role model and educator; Believe in rehabilitation and hope to transform criminals into law-abiding citizens.
•Opportunity - Once on the job, officers can pursue a Bachelor's degree or professional development. Correctional officers can also rise in rank to earn more income.
•Never Boring - Inside the prison walls, you face challenges every day, whether from disruptive prisoners or gang violence inside the prison walls. In one sense, correctional officers have to act like police for the prison, gathering intelligence and investigating crimes. Some future correctional officers find those challenges exciting. They want a career that never gets boring and pushes them every day. The stress and dangers of correctional work requires officers to be well rounded so that they can be prepared for anything.
