My name is Jason Tate. Born and raised in Harmony. After High School and College I enlisted into the military as a Lazer pilot at Fort Zancudo. I spent 8 years in the military and loved every second of it, until I crashed off the shores in Paleto Bay during a training exercise that ended my career due to an injury sustained. I have since relocated to Los Santos, where I am currently working in at Weazel News as the Assistant Advertising Manager and at Bayview Auto Center, as a Mechanic. I have a fond interest in politics and cars, I currently drive a Retro Comet that I purchased after my time in the military ( I thought it was a good time to treat myself to something nice) and have slowly been upgrading it.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
If hired, I would be able to split my working hours between Weazel News and SADOC, which is approximately 40 hours. I would be safe in saying that it would probably be about 15-20 hour a month ((week))

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I am a true believer in law and order, the rule of law. But I also feel as everyone can be rehabilitated and safely reintegrated into society. I would be willing to work with the “residents” of Bolingbroke to ensure they are not repeat offenders by giving them guidance in being a productive member of the city. I have a strong work ethic and work well in a team environment, as well as having the integrity to work alone. I am calm under pressure, level headed, and I know how to diffuse a situation should it happen. I believe that I am a strong candidate for employment with the Department of Corrections and I hope I get the pleasure of working along side of the other Correctional Staff.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
In a life and death situation you only get one chance at doing the right thing. I steadily weight my options of approach any time a situation arises. Stress is a normal, it is how you choose to react that will either keep you alive or send you to the medical facilities

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
My best trait is that I am a hard worker who likes to get the job done. I know that would benefit the Department of Corrections in a tremendous way. I like to work long hours to complete projects I don’t stop until the job is done. I get along with people and have a great personality for communications with the 'residents" of the facility. I am also BLS certified, received by MD. I am licensed for firearms as well, hopefully not needed.

I have prior Military service experience. I spent 8 years as a Buzzard pilot for the San Andreas National Guard.

I had a misdemeanor speeding ticket that I could not afford to pay. I tried to find work in the mines or fishing to earn a living but kept getting robbed. I could not afford to pay the ticket and was picked up by LSPD on a jaywalking charge, that charge was dropped, but I spent a week in a cell for the speeding ticket.
