I am a ex-criminal who had trouble with the law recently. I have been in and out of prison recently, but I plan to correct myself. I find it hard to make money with these freelance jobs, and I would like to get a stable job I can commit all my time to. I do not have a family of my own, so most of my time will be dedicated at the DOC. I plan to dedicate far more then the 5 hour a week minimum.
How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?[/b]
I plan to spend most of my time working at the DOC. I will probably work for quite some time. Althought I do not know exactly what it will be, it will be far more then the 5 hour a week min.
Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)[/b]
I would like to join the DOC to help others. I have been in and out of the DOC myself, and I know for a fact it sucks. I would like to become a DOC officer to help get a stable job to occupy my time, so I do not revert to my criminal ways, and to eliminate all persuasive factors pulling me in to that life. I would like to work here to help better the life of those in the DOC aswell. I plan to dedicate some time to work with prisoners, while keeping watch, to help them correct their path so they do not return to the DOC.
How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?[/b]
I think I handle pressure and stressful situations quite well. Although this is not the most ideal situation, I have an example from a police chase I was in before I changed my ways. During this time, I was able to keep my cool and successfully realize what happened, and pull over and turn myself in, because during this time under the pressure, I realized I was only making things worse.

My qualifications consist of my jobs I worked before applying here. Before applying, I used to work as a lumberjack, which greatly grew my strength. I also have had a few jobs in Mexico, when I used to live there, that involved firearms. I know my way around these firearms quite well.

Yes. I have been convicted of quite some crimes, during the time I was under the influence that crime would help me make big bucks. I have since changed my ways, and the reason I am applying today is to find a job that will give me stable income so I never go back to crime.
