Hi My name is Podge Pearse. I am from Dublin Ireland. I have always wanted to be apart of the policing force as my father was a Sargent for close to 20 years before he was murdered. When i was younger he would take me in for career days and show me the ins and outs of what is needed from somebody of his position. Since his murder I have always wanted to be able to move away and start a new life that he could be proud of and get myself into law enforcement. I want to make him proud and possibly become a high ranking officer or commander one day.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I plan on dedicating as much time as possible to bettering the community that is Los Santos as being new in town means I don't have many friends in this city i would have a lot of spare time to use up.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I have always wanted to be apart of law enforcement whether it be in corrections or policing since I was a little kid. Seeing police, EMS and prison officers around town would give you a sort of relief knowing you had people keeping the criminals away. I have always wanted to be that side of the law and i have always wanted to protect members of the public. I have a lot to offer to the team of SADOC and i would like to think that the ideas that i would have could be implemented and possibly used to ensure team work is better as team work makes every situation a lot better when we are communicating correctly. If I am lucky enough to be accepted I will be determined to give my all in SADOC as i would with any other job.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
Stressful situations should be handled carefully to allow you to see clearly. This means being able to understand the situation at hand and adjusting to what is needed to ensure the best possible outcome.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I have qualified in sharp shooter contests back in Ireland for Pistols and Sniper Rifles, this allows me to ensure precision and calm are used at every second.
Self control would be one of my main traits as it is needed when a situation escalates, you need to be able to make decisions and accept the responsibility that comes with those decisions also.
Loyalty in this line of work is needed as you have to step in for each other and watch each others backs when patrolling the blocks or yard.
Other traits that i would say i have are reliability, humility and honesty.

No, I do not

I have partaken in sharp shooter contests with sniper rifles at long range which would require a spotter being able to communicate precisely to ensure targets are pinpointed and executed accordingly.
I am always looking to work further as a team especially as i am new to this city and ready to meet new people.
