On October 5th, 2017, Assistant Chief Travis Palmer handed his resignation in. He had been with the Los Santos Police Department since his transfer in July 2017. During his time in the Los Santos Police Department, Assistant Chief Palmer got himself involved in our Administration's Bureau, General Operations Bureau and he was in the process of pushing our Investigations Bureau to become fully operational.
It's safe to say that Assistant Chief Palmer was a man with a burning passion towards Law Enforcement, he truly cared for the men and women in blue that worked alongside him every day. His countless hours of work towards this department and the community that we serve will not go unnoticed. His resignation is without a doubt a major loss to the Los Santos Police Department but we will continue to prosper as we always have been, despite setbacks.
A new Assistant Chief will be appointed in the future, but until then, the seat shall remain vacant. Daily operations will function as it always has been, nothing has been changed.
To end this, we would like to wish Assistant Chief Palmer nothing but the best and hope that he will have a long and happy retirement.

Chief of Police Samuel Osborn
