Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections?
I look to progress my career working in law enforcement, but did not feel that the police department was the best fit for me. Word of mouth led me to looking into DOC, and after doing research I believe this will be the right fit for me.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
My experience in LSPD and the military have brought me to a point where I am able to keep a level head in every situation.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I have very few obligations to meet outside of my career and as such would devote most if not all of my time and energy to becoming a proficient SADOC officer.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
Duty bar none is the most valuable trait that the SADOC would find amicable. Once I set my eyes to a goal, I will do everything within my power to achieve it. With this said, the noted goal moving forward is helping improve the quality of life of innocent civilians within the city; by rehabilitating seasoned criminals. The SADOC could benefit from this sense of duty by enhancing the ability to monitor criminals throughout the facility. Beyond this, my duty will bring me to never leave the side of an officer in need - until they do not require further assistance. It is imperative that officers and brothers the like to not abandon each other, regardless of the situation.

Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
Born to a small family, I grew up in the middle of the city with no true knowledge of where my life would take me. As i grew up, I decided that New York wasnt the place for me, and that I needed to leave for another venue. This led me to joining the military, and after a tour abroad I set my sights on Los Santos. After coming to the city, I had tried out a few more menial jobs to build up assets while trying to determine my career path. Through these ventures, I met friends and built relationships throughout the city - which allowed me to have more insight into what the next steps would be for me. This led me to signing my first true contract with LSC, as I was awaiting open recruitment at LSPD. I was inducted into the academy and subsequently started duty as an officer of the law.

Why should we hire you over anyone else (minimum 100 words)?
Prior Special Forces and Police training in the past has brought me to a point where I believe the transition over to SADOC would be nearly seamless. Protecting civilians in some of the most dangerous environments across the globe has given me valuable experience as to what law enforcement as a career would entail. I plan to bring these skills to SADOC not only to enhance my proficiency as a law enforcement officer, but hopefully to improve upon others as well.

Do you have any previous military or law enforcement history? If so, elaborate:
Prior military experience before coming to Los Santos, as well as law enforcement experience through the LSPD.

Have you ever worked for a government agency? If so, which one and what was your position?
Yes, I was a mechanic expert in LSC as well as a POI in the LSPD.

Do you have any previous experience working as part of a team?
Absolutely, both LSPD and Los Santos Customs were largely team environments where you would rely on your colleagues to assist in day to day activities.

Have you ever been convicted of a crime? If so, explain:
Yes, I believe I have one reckless operation charge from two to three months back. I was reckless and made a mistake, which I haven't duplicated since.

Dear Applicant,

It is our pleasure to inform you that you have passed your interview stage and moved to the next stage of our recruitment drive; the academy! You are now a Department of Corrections Academy Student! Your rank will be Correctional Officer I temporarily for the duration of the academy.

You will receive an email from a member of the Human Resources division containing a poll regarding academy times as well as our current handbook. You are to read this carefully as this will be the base of your knowledge and act as something akin to a bible in the department.

The academy may take up to 2-3 hours (( IRL )) dependent on your group size and the abilities of you and your fellow students. Upon arriving at your training date at the DOC, you will be fitted and provided with temporary equipment and uniform to perform the following exercises:

• Physical Training testing
• Sidearm procedures and training
• Mock 10-15 processing

Once the exercises are over, there are two possible courses of action. Dependent on the day, performance, and size of the group, you will either be asked to wait in the DOC waiting room temporarily, or leave the premises to receive your results via email. At this point you will either be hired as a full time Correctional Officer I, or if your performance was not up to standards, you will be dismissed and be eligible to reapply pending the next recruitment drive.
