ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT
- Reporting Period: April 1st, 2026 - April 30th, 2026
- #224231
- A complaint was received regarding multiple uses of force during a vehicle pursuit and related vehicle interference incidents. The investigation determined that the majority of the force used by involved deputies was within policy based on the threat level, vehicle interference, and officer safety concerns present during the incident. However, one allegation was sustained regarding a supervisory member’s body camera non-compliance, and a separate use-of-force concern was sustained regarding the manner in which force was applied to disable a vehicle while an individual occupied a vulnerable position within it. Corrective action was taken, and the matter also resulted in policy review concerning body camera expectations and vehicle-related use-of-force language.
- #225802
- A complaint was received regarding a Deputy’s use of a department vehicle to make physical contact with a fleeing suspect during the conclusion of a pursuit. An investigator reviewed the complaint and determined that the suspect was unarmed at the time, fleeing on foot, and that the immediate threat did not justify escalation to vehicle contact. The allegation was sustained for excessive use of force, and corrective action was taken.
- ((#225739))
- ((A complaint was received regarding a faction member’s conduct during a pursuit involving an ATM theft and a suspect attempting to flee on a motorcycle. Review determined that the member’s actions reflected poor faction representation, limited roleplay opportunity, insufficient escalation, and an approach inconsistent with faction standards. The matter was sustained OOCly, and corrective action was taken under faction conduct expectations.))
- #226213
- A complaint was received regarding a Deputy’s conduct during a traffic stop, including allegations of unprofessional behavior, improper detainment/search procedures, and the issuance of a citation, demerit, and license suspension. The investigation determined that the Deputy had a lawful basis for the stop and citation based on the alleged driving behavior, and that the resulting license suspension was connected to the driver’s accumulated demerits. The matter was concluded as exonerated, although the Deputy was reminded about search procedures even though probable cause for the search was established.
- ((#225473))
- ((A complaint was received regarding a faction member’s OOC conduct on an alternate character, including allegations of trolling, mixing, and poor roleplay standards during an incident at DOC. The investigation determined that the conduct represented a breach of server rules and LSSD faction roleplay standards, particularly due to the behavior occurring in front of multiple factions. The matter was sustained OOCly, and corrective action was taken under faction conduct expectations.))
