Candidate Biography (150 Words): When I first came from Liberty City and my career here in Los Santos first began, I started out as a paralegal for the Prosecution Division of the Judicial Branch. I was quickly motivated to take on a greater role in the justice system and transferred into a prosecutorial role to continue my legal work. I built my reputation on diligence, fairness, and a commitment to upholding the rule of law. I was later appointed as the Attorney General for the State, continuing my service with statewide efforts to strengthen public trust in the legal system and law enforcement, promoting transparency and accountability, while still maintaining prosecutorial duties on a multitude of misdemeanor and felony cases. Also serving as Chairman for the Bar Ethics Review Board, I spearheaded multiple investigations into alleged attorney misconduct and malpractice, to maintain and advance professional standards and accountability within the legal community.
Candidate Statement (150 Words): As a former prosecutor, I understand the need for clear and structured laws. There is also a public need for safety and trust in the State's governance and law enforcement. And while government and law enforcement should be equipped with clear and legal frameworks that enable them to act effectively and lawfully, transparency and accountability is needed for when their actions fall short of the expectations and standards the public deserves. I will look into streamlining overlapping statutes and expanding on others; I will propose new statutes and resolutions to advance public safety, and new statutes and resolutions to improve the everyday life of civilians ; I will work at clarifying regulatory authority across governmental and law enforcement agencies, allowing them to operate with cohesion, purpose, and accountability.
I hope to contribute to a system that is trusted by the public and worthy of that trust; a system for the public.
