Letter From the Governor

Emily Whitehorse wrote: Today marks the end of February, both signifying the start of the Chinese calendar marks the year of the Fire Horse in Chinese culture. February also marks the end of black history month, where we celebrate the history and culture of the black community in San Andreas and greater global history. March also brings the beginning of spring, where life that has been dormant returns and the cycle of life progresses forward. I am really looking forward to seeing what new life will be brought to San Andreas this month.
This month, LSMC celebrated its 6 year anniversary of a club that has brought many new citizens into a family of bikers with a love for the open road, with a event that brought heavy metal together with the spirit of valentines day. I want to thank National President Ava Ravenhill, club President Johnnie Ravenhill, and all the members who participate in the organization for all they have done for the state. While I am not personally skilled on a bike, I know the family they provide, and the work they do collectively for our San Andreas community is a major contributing piece of San Andreas culture. I look forward to hopefully attending the next event.
As Governor, I am proud to recognize Black History Month as a time to honor the achievements and lasting contributions of Black Americans to our great state of San Andreas. Throughout our history, Black leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and public servants have helped shaped the San Andreas community with a rich cultural foundation. I hope this month that everyone had time to reflect on the past, but also to recommit ourselves to opportunity and equality for every family in San Andreas.
Finally, I want to give a special shout out to the public relations team for creation of the SASG awards for 2025 and 2026. The event was a first for our organization, and was very enjoyable for everyone in attendance. While some of the awards fell under "Joke" awards, similar in nature to the Lincoln Awards or Romeo Awards, we also gave away some important ones such as for a large scale operation that took place prior, as well as the life saver award to Yuri Knight for his efforts in protecting Government Deputy Director Alfie Watch.
I want to take this time to thank all our law enforcement partners, our esteemed medical responders, and our friends in the corrections for continuing to valiantly serve the state of San Andreas and its people. I hope that with each passing day of 2026, we can continue to work collectively to solve this state's greatest challenges.
May god bless you all, our law enforcement partners, our esteemed medical responders, and our friends in the corrections, and may god bless San Andreas.

Governor Signs Historic Amendment Removing LRC Term Limits
Your Voice, Your Vote: LRC Term Limits Updated
The Governor of San Andreas signed the first constitutional amendment introduced by the Law Review Committee. This amendment removes term limits for LRC members, allowing them to serve more than two consecutive terms if reelected by the people.
The change follows ongoing discussions with members of the Legislative Branch who expressed concerns that term limits were limiting effectiveness and discouraging committed public servants from continuing their work. While new candidates are always encouraged to step forward, this amendment ensures that experienced and passionate legislators can continue to serve San Andreas if voters place their trust in them.
Although LRC applications are currently closed, now is the perfect time to begin reviewing requirements for the next election. If you are ready to shape the future of our laws, start preparing early.

A Night of Recognition and Achievement
2025 SASG Award Ceremony & Ribbons

On the 21st of February, the San Andreas State Government hosted its first internal awards ceremony. The ceremony was modeled off of the Lincoln Awards, Romeo Awards, and the Kourtneys. These awards where created to recognize the unique things each team member has either directly contributed to, or poke a bit of fun at how some people have a bit of a reputation for doing or engaging in specific things. The awards where called an "Emmy" after a playful spin was done on the television and broadcast Emmy Awards.
We congratulate all the employees that won an award that day, and thank them for their contributions to the San Andreas State Government in the year 2025/2026.

Agent Knight Saves Colleague in High Risk City Hall Incident
Agent Yuri Knight Awarded Life Saver Ribbon for Heroic Bravery

Recently, Agent Yuri Knight was awarded the Life Saver Ribbon in recognition of his extraordinary bravery and selfless actions in saving Alfie Watch while placing himself in direct danger. What began as a routine day at City Hall quickly escalated when Alfie, having just clocked in to begin his duties, radioed that individuals were attempting to force entry into a restricted room not open to the public. Agent Knight responded immediately, racing to City Hall where he carefully assessed the situation and confronted the threat head-on. Inside, Alfie had been taken hostage, threatened with a broken bottle and struck with a crowbar, yet Agent Knight put Alfie’s safety above his own without hesitation. Demonstrating exceptional composure and skill, he subdued the attackers and ensured both were safely arrested for their crimes. While this ribbon is only a small token of appreciation for such remarkable courage, it stands as a sincere thank you for what Agent Knight accomplished. In recognition of the award, Security Director Murphy shared his thoughts below:

Tristan Murphy wrote: Agent Yuri Knight demonstrated exceptional courage and decisive action during a violent hostage situation at City Hall on February 17, 2026. Faced with an immediate and life-threatening attack against Deputy Director Alfie Watch, Agent Andre acted without hesitation to neutralise the threat and ensure medical aid could be rendered. His quick thinking, bravery under pressure, and unwavering commitment to preserving life reflect the highest standards of the Government Security Bureau. It is my honour to recognise him with the GSB Life Saver Ribbon for his heroic actions in the line of duty

Happy 6th Birthday, LSMC!
Riding into Year Seven: LSMC Marks Six Years of Impact in Los Santos

This year, the Los Santos Motorcycle Club (LSMC) celebrated a remarkable milestone: 6 years of building community, camaraderie, and giving back to the city. What started as a small group of passionate riders has now grown into a vibrant and active force within the Los Santos community. To mark the occasion, the LSMC threw a birthday bash that was nothing short of spectacular!
Held at their very own bar, Mojito, the celebration was attended by members, friends, and supporters of the club, with a special raffle adding excitement to the festivities. The event was a testament to how far the LSMC has come, with a fantastic turnout that showcased the club’s strong connections within the local community.
But the LSMC is not just about parties and rides; it’s about making a positive impact. Over the past six years, the club has become known for its charitable initiatives, including running a well-loved soup kitchen that serves those in need across the city. The club's members have dedicated countless hours to volunteering, organising charity events, and lending a helping hand to those who need it most.
One of the highlights of the evening was the club’s continued partnership with the San Andreas State Government, which has been proud to sponsor the LSMC’s growth and philanthropic endeavours. The government recognised the club for its consistent contributions to the community, not only through charitable acts but also by fostering a sense of belonging and support for all.
Looking ahead, the LSMC has big plans for the year to come. With their strong foundation and growing network of supporters, the club is set to ramp up its community engagement efforts even further. Whether it’s continuing to host charity events, reaching out to new neighbourhoods, or providing more opportunities for local youth, the LSMC is ready to make an even bigger impact in 2026 and beyond.
From their first ride to their sixth anniversary, the LSMC has shown what it truly means to be a community-focused organisation. Here's to many more years of good times, great rides, and giving back to the people who make Los Santos such a special place. Happy birthday, LSMC and thank you for everything you do!
Stay tuned for more exciting developments and join us in supporting their continued success. Here's to the next six years!
