SADOC HIRING REQUIREMENTS UPDATE
- Effective immediately, the San Andreas Department of Corrections has made an adjustment to its hiring requirements. Specifically, the requirement that prohibits Los Santos Police Department employees from pursuing employment with the San Andreas Department of Corrections has been lifted.
Following a review of Department hiring practices, it was determined that trialing whether lifting these restrictions for dual employment has a positive impact on hiring spread and employee retention was warranted. Brief deliberations were had with the Los Santos Police Department, after which both the LSPD's and SADOC's dual-employment restrictions were lifted.
While previously disallowed due to conflicts, SADOC employees may now apply to the LSPD, and LSPD employees may now apply to SADOC, without needing to resign from their position in either Department to pursue a long-term career.
Discussions with the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department on an identical goal are ongoing as of December 24th, 2025.
