Los Santos: As the Los Santos Police Department concludes the month of November, Chief Phillipe Sanchez extends a message of reflection and addresses the accomplishments, challenges, and future endeavours of the Department.

Chief Phillipe Sanchez wrote: The Los Santos Police Department is pleased to wrap up another month of dedicated service to our city. Throughout November, our officers and staff maintained the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and public safety during a time filled with both challenges and successes.

One serious key incident this month involved the kidnapping of Lieutenant Jamie Lockwood by members of the criminal organisation known as Empire. Thanks to the rapid and cooperative efforts of responding officers and investigative units, Lieutenant Lockwood was safely rescued. All individuals involved in this incident have been captured. This quick resolution highlights the remarkable commitment and teamwork shown by the men and women of this Department.

The LSPD also acknowledges the resignation of Captain Dale Ashcroft, who ended a long and distinguished career in the Major Crimes Division. Captain Ashcroft’s commitment to justice and his positive influence on many investigations have left a lasting impact on this city. We are deeply grateful for his service and wish him the best in the future. Read more here.

Earlier this month, the Bank of Los Santos was robbed in a high-risk incident that led to a quick and coordinated response from our officers. Thanks to detailed witness accounts, effective investigative techniques, and strong teamwork between divisions, we have identified the individuals responsible. Our investigators are now working hard to resolve the case successfully. As we continue with this investigation, we thank the public for their patience, alertness, and willingness to help. Your cooperation is crucial in holding those responsible accountable.

November also saw the much-anticipated return of the LSPD Annual Awards Ceremony. This evening recognized outstanding service across the Department. Officers from various divisions were honoured for acts of bravery, excellence in policing, and their strong commitment to the people of Los Santos. The ceremony celebrated individual achievements and showcased the shared passion and professionalism that define our agency. It served as a powerful reminder of the extraordinary dedication shown daily by the men and women who protect our city, both in the spotlight and behind the scenes.

Looking ahead, the Los Santos Police Department remains committed to strengthening the safety and wellbeing of our city. In the coming months, we will continue developing modern policing initiatives, expanding community engagement programmes, and enhancing our investigative capabilities. Our focus is on building a safer, more connected community, one where residents can feel confident that their police department is working proactively, transparently, and collaboratively to protect and support them every day.

As Los Santos enters the festive season, the LSPD stays committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the public. We encourage everyone to enjoy the celebrations responsibly, care for each other, and take pride in the strong community spirit that defines our city at this time of year.

On behalf of the Los Santos Police Department, I thank you for your ongoing trust and support. We look forward to serving you in the coming month.
