(( The LSEMS has several Out-of-Character requirements that must be met on top of our In-Character requirements.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
- Applicants must possess a full driver's license issued by the Los Santos DMV. A trucker's license is required if the applicant wishes to join the Fire & Rescue Division. We typically prefer applicants with no major traffic or driving offenses.
- The LSEMS requires that applicants not have any history of certain mental conditions that could inhibit performance on duty and cause further issues in the department. Exceptions can be made.
- Applicants are required to be physically fit to perform the day-to-day duties of an EMT (lifting patients, scaling difficult terrain, etc.). Applicants may be subjected to a physical examination by a member of the AMU division.
- The Applicant must be clear from any recent criminal charges - some charges may be forgiven if the Applicant undergoes SADOC's Felon Reformation Program. See below for further specifications:

(( The LSEMS has several Out-of-Character requirements that must be met on top of our In-Character requirements.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Special consideration for players who are able to show maturity may apply.
- You should ideally have a working microphone to be used in-game and on TeamSpeak 3 as Eclipse Roleplay is a primarily VOIP server. This is however not eliminatory by any means, but it does mandate that your typing speed and grammar can keep up.
- This does not mean that text role-play is not important. Your ability to perform character actions and describe environmental RP (/me & /do) will be checked during the recruitment process, should you pass the application stage.
- You are permitted to use text RP during your employment but must use VOIP when using (J)TAC
- You must be able to communicate fluently in the English language, which includes grammar and spelling.
- You must have TeamSpeak 3 and Discord installed.
- You must be able to spend at least Five hours weekly on your LSEMS character. This requirement can be temporarily exempted through a Leave of Absence or Reduction of Hours.
- Your Admin Record has been clean for at least 30 days from the filing date.
- This means that you haven't had any punishments, including being unbanned within a thirty-day period and you are in good standing with the Eclipse community. Depending on the severity of the punishment, we reserve the right to deny your application based on your Admin Record, even after the thirty-day minimum. All cases are reviewed individually.
- The Los Santos Emergency Medical Services faction reserves the right to deny applicants that have previously been removed from another faction for Out of Character reasons, such as but not limited to, poor roleplay, poor Out of Character conduct, and toxicity. Our faction strives for a friendly and healthy environment, and applicants need to prove that they are capable of contributing to one.
- You must not use AI text generators to compose answers in your application as doing so shows a lack of effort. Detecting the use of these generators is grounds for denying your application.
- The Applicants agree to roleplay a realistic medical care provider character with consistent character development by applying to the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services faction. ))

Message From the Deputy Chief of EMS

We've had a very proactive month full of positives and negatives. A lovely recruitment drive in Lower Pillbox saw a lot of interest in LSEMS and we're excited to see these new EMTs progress and further their careers. From EMR to High Command, everyone has an important role here at LSEMS and a bright future.
