San Andreas Judicial Branch Justice Prevails In the Face of Violent Terrorist Attack "EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW" |

- Citizens of San Andreas,
Yesterday, terror came to San Andreas. Yesterday, an attempt was made to disrupt the state's justice system. Yesterday, San Andreas lost one of its own.
In a shocking act of violence, a terrorist attack occurred yesterday at City Hall, resulting in the death of one of the Supreme Court's justices. The incident, occurring on the evening of Sunday, the 27th of April, unfolded as a group of attackers rushed City Hall and grabbed two Judicial Branch employees, including the justice. The attackers rushed the two employees to the back entrance of City Hall by the judges' chambers, locking all doors in the process.
Despite the heroic actions of the law enforcement departments and agencies present at the scene, which resulted in all of the 8 suspects surviving their injuries to face incarceration, the sorrowful news of the loss of life was broken to all government entities at the scene, as the justice had succumbed to the injuries caused by their captors. This heinous act not only robs the community of a dedicated public servant but sends a chilling message regarding the threats facing those who uphold the law. The San Andreas Judicial Branch condemns this senseless act of violence in the strongest possible terms. Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and colleagues of those employees, and we wish to assure them that the terrorists have been prosecuted and are currently serving their sentences at Bolingbroke Penitentiary. We want to thank the operatives with the Metropolitan Division of the Los Santos Police Department, the Los Santos Sheriff Department's Special Enforcement Detail, and the Government Security Bureau for their efforts, as well as all the responding medics of the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services
The terrorists targeted the Judicial Branch employees as an attack on the state's justice system, attempting to force the justice to overturn charges filed against one of the attackers by the Office of the Attorney General; this aimed to undermine public trust in the judicial process and instill fear within the legal community. Even in the light of these threats, the San Andreas Court System prevailed, and continues to serve the citizens of the state: the Public Defense Division works to provide legal aid to anyone wishing to contest criminal charges; the Office of the Attorney General, and in extension, the Prosecutor's Office, work to prosecute criminals and those found to violate state laws; and the Superior Court, Appellate Court, and Supreme Court all work to let citizens have their case heard in court. All entities within the state's court system will, without fail, continue to work towards their common goal: justice.
