Los Santos County Sheriff's Department
"A TRADITION OF SERVICE"
News Release
April 10th, 2025

  • NEW VEHICLES ADDED TO THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT'S PATROL FLEET!
  • Blaine County: The Los Santos County Sheriff Department has updated the current fleet with four new vehicles; Dominator GTX Interceptor, Pidgeon Patrol, Police Sandstorm & LSSD Marked Dashhound.

    Vapid Sandstorm GOB version
The Sheriff's Department has been in need of vehicles with proper off-road capabilities to better equip our deputies when responding to situations, especially in the County. The Vapid has a higher top-speed, which makes it a great option for pursuing heavier off-road vehicles.

    Dominator GTX High Speed Interceptor
The Traffic Services Detail received a new and upgraded Dominator GTX High Speed Interceptor. With the top speed of way over 200km/h and good maneuverability, Traffic Deputies has been given a solid tool when responding to pursuits or high-speed situations.

    Pidgeon Patrol
The, quite frankly, the weirdest vehicle is the new Pidgeon Patrol. This cruiser is specially made to perform parking patrol in local areas. The Pidgeon Patrol is also electric, so issuing parking tickets could not be more environmental friendly. Our Trainees will also have the option to locally patrol with this vehicle, and not being tied to the pushbikes stored at the different station. The Pidgeon Patrol has a impressive top-speed on over 130km/h, but at our own risk as the brakes are close to non-existent.

    Assistant Sheriff Steve Smyth
The addition of the Dominator GTX Interceptor and Sandstorm to our fleet marks a major upgrade in our patrol capabilities. The Dominator GTX Interceptor, a high-speed traffic enforcement vehicle, will enhance the Traffic Services Detail's ability to respond swiftly to roadway incidents and enforce traffic laws with precision. Meanwhile, the Sandstorm, with its power and off-road capabilities, ensures our deputies can navigate even the toughest terrain quickly and safely. These investments strengthen our commitment to public safety and operational excellence.

I am extremely appreciative of the San Andreas State Government's investment particularly in the area of Traffic Enforcement, something which I have been chasing up for numerous years. I look forward to seeing the vehicles in action!

    Captain Amelia Clark
I am glad to see that we have received an update to our fleet, especially to the Traffic Enforcement Detail. New additions to the fleet always sparks a new motivation between our staff. My personal favorite is the Pidgeon Patrol, which also mirrors my capabilities on the road. We have really made the County safer with these investments.

    Deputy Sheriff III Nacho Navarro
The truck is so loud I can't hear the radio 9 out of 10 times, so it's pretty good.
