News Release
February 14th, 2025

  • Deputy Rescued After Being Held Captive by The Souls Criminals
  • Blaine County: In the early hours of Friday the 14th of February 2025, a Sheriff's Deputy was abducted from the front line and held captive by an individual identified as Aki Kurokawa known from the criminal organization The Souls.

    The investigation and search for the missing deputy began as soon as the message about the abduction reached the Sheriff's Investigation Burau and the Special Enforcement Detail. As information was being gathered, units searched high and low across the whole state of San Andreas, and around 9 hours later, Kurokawa and the missing Sheriff's Deputy was located inside an estate in Blaine County.

    Once the location was confirmed, a rescue operation was initiated and the area was surrounded by operators specially trained to handle situations like the one in front of them. Kurokawa was apprehended seconds after leaving the estate and the Sheriff's Deputy was brought to safety.

    Kurokawa was charged with the following for the crimes subjected to the Sheriff's Deputy;
    • SF04 - Kidnapping of a Gov. employee
    • SF05 - Torture of a Gov. employee
    • GM02 - Battery of a Gov. employee
    • WM05 - Possession of Body Armor as a Felon
    • DM04 - Possession of a Controlled Substance while Armed
    • WM02 - Possession of a Class 1 Firearm
    • WF03 - Possession of a Class 2 Firearm
    Some charges has been redacted due to privacy reasons

    We wish to thank any individual that assisted in the efforts of bringing the Sheriff's Deputy back to safety. The outcome may not have been the same without the precise expertise from our field staff. Under no circumstances do we condone such actions subjected to our deputies, and law enforcement personnel in general.
