Blaine County: In a historic statewide operation, the Los Santos Sheriff’s Department successfully took into custody six individuals involved in the prison breakout of notorious mass murderer Sophia Falcone. The operation, which concluded on January 10, 2025, marked the end of a months-long investigation that brought together multiple government agencies and showcased the dedication of law enforcement to protect the citizens of San Andreas.
The case, which was opened on November 5, 2024, saw incredible collaboration between the Los Santos Sheriff’s Department, the San Andreas State Government , the San Andreas Judicial Branch, and the Department of Corrections. The operation’s success was a great example of the impressive efforts of investigators, deputies, and partner agencies working together to bring those responsible to justice.
Commander John Kemp of the Sheriff’s Investigations Bureau praised the work of Investigator I Louise Hoffman, who played a key role in the investigation. “Investigator Hoffman’s attention to detail, dedication to justice, and determination were instrumental in solving one of the most challenging cases we’ve faced,” said Kemp. “Her relentless pursuit of the truth ensured that no stone was left unturned.”
Assistant Sheriff Oscar Black emphasized the importance of teamwork in this operation. “This case’s successful outcome is a direct result of the dedication and collaboration of all involved agencies. We are proud of the work done by our investigators and deputies, and we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of justice for the people of Los Santos.”
The investigation revealed that Nathaniel Luceran, a known domestic terrorist, planned the prison breakout with the help of his associates, including Alistair Vespucci, who served as his right-hand man. The group kidnapped Lieutenant Saint, a Department of Corrections employee, and used his uniform and access card to infiltrate the prison. Disguised as CERT officers, Luceran, Vespucci, and Cortez Rivera successfully broke out Sophia Falcone from prison.
