On October 19th, 2024, the Los Santos Sheriff's Department held an exciting event fair at Sandy Airfield. The fair was a huge success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the department and its members. The event fair featured a variety of activities and showcases for the public to enjoy. One of the most popular attractions was the Scout giveaway, where a lucky winner was chosen to receive a brand-new Scout. This was a great way for the department to give back to the community and show their support.
Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to take a helicopter ride with Deputy Louise Hoffman, who provided valuable information about the Air Support Division and its role within the department. This was also a unique experience for many, as they were able to see the city from a different perspective. For those interested in joining the department, Corporal Clay Thompson was on hand to explain the Recruitment and Employment division and how to apply for a position within the department. This was a great opportunity for individuals to learn more about the department and its requirements.
The career fair also featured the dynamic duo of Lilith and James, who were responsible for giving out tickets and ensuring a smooth flow of attendees. Additionally, Deputy Harper Flynn, Nate Banks, and Cattleya Townsend were actively working to keep the crowd under control and prevent any potential incidents. Members of the Special Enforcement Division were present to showcase their division and explain their role within the department. This was a great chance for the public to learn more about this specialized division and the important work they do.
The fair also had a presence from the Investigation Bureau, with Investigator James Valor representing the division and Lieutenant Tom Brown showcasing his K9 partner, Lola. This was a great opportunity for the public to see the work of this division and learn more about the role of a K9 in law enforcement.
Sheriff Kirk and Wallace played a vital role in engaging with the public and promoting the department's values. They were also quick to respond to an emergency when a Puma attack threatened the safety of the crowd. Thanks to Sheriff Kirk's swift actions, the threat was neutralized and the masses were kept safe. A special shoutout and gratitude goes to Deputy Ava Ravenhill and Johnny Ravenhill for their exceptional assistance in providing food and drinks for the event. Their efforts were greatly appreciated by both the department and the attendees.
In conclusion, the Los Santos Sheriff's Department's Career Fair at Sandy Airfield was a tremendous success. It was a great opportunity for the public to interact with and learn more about the department and its various divisions.
