Citizens who want to practice by being employed by the San Andreas Judicial Branch have the privilege of receiving on-the-job training from the branch and taking their bar examination free of charge. Becoming a Court Clerk is an excellent step for those who have already obtained their Bar License and are looking to work closely with the judiciary while building a strong foundation for a future judicial career as a Judge.

As a Court Clerk with the San Andreas Judicial Branch, you will serve as a judicial paralegal, assisting judges with case management and legal research. This role not only requires strong legal knowledge and attention to detail but also offers the unique opportunity to work closely with sitting judges. Court Clerks are entrusted with reviewing case files, providing legal advice, and even drafting verdicts and legal documents. While Court Clerks are not judges themselves, they have the authority to act on behalf of a judge in specific capacities, such as signing search warrants or ruling on cases with judicial oversight.

- Creating and maintaining case logs within the Superior Court Case Files.
- Researching relevant laws for cases, analyzing legal precedents, and summarizing findings.
- Drafting legal documents, including verdicts, dismissals, plea agreements, and search warrants.
- Signing search warrants on behalf of a judge, with their prior approval.
- Ruling on cases on behalf of a sitting judge, with judicial sign-off.
- Providing legal advice to judges, defense attorneys, and prosecutors.
- Collaborating with judges on case review and decision-making processes.
The San Andreas Judicial Branch seeks dedicated individuals firmly committed to supporting the judiciary through legal work. Court Clerks are critical in assisting judges with case management, legal research, and drafting vital legal documents. Court Clerks must be able to handle case files with precision, provide thorough legal analysis, and ensure all documentation is prepared correctly and filed. This role requires independent work and collaboration with judges to ensure smooth court proceedings. Requirements to become employed by the branch include:
- 21 years of age at the time of hire.
- Must be a legal citizen residing in San Andreas.
- Must not be affiliated with any criminal groups, in or outside of San Andreas.
- Must be in good standing with the state meaning no outstanding tickets or criminal charges.
- The Judicial Branch reserves the right to deny anyone for excessive citations and/or any amount of misdemeanors committed within the past 2 weeks.
- Must not have any felony charges on their record.
- Must not be currently employed by the San Andreas Legislative Branch, a part of the Law Review Committee, or play a significant role in the Law Review Committee. If the applicant is; they must be willing to resign upon successful hire.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with the State of San Andreas.
- Extensive knowledge of the Penal Code is a plus but not required

- (( Applicants must be able to speak the English language fluently and be proficient with English grammar and spelling. ))
- (( You must be able to spend at least three (3) hours weekly at a minimum to your Judicial Branch character. ))
