• 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum)
  • I am seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch as I am wanting a change in career, I have worked for GSB but resigned due to personal differences. I have always been interested in joining the Judicial Branch even when I was in GSB. My aim would to become a defence attorney to be able to give people the chance to have a good attorney to dispute charges that someone feels have been wrongly places or they have been wrongly arrested for. Being able to fight for people is something I have always done. I believe that everyone has the right to impartial legal help in any situation, this is something that has grown in interest since I have worked at GSB. I believe it is important to stay impartial and be able to give the client the best information to my knowledge and not just, as there will be people who have done things that are wrong, but it would be my job to deal with that situation without judgement and to the best of my ability. I worked very closely with people from the Judicial Branch, so this is the reasoning for want to apply to have a shift in career focus.

  • My name is Eddie Chalmers, I am 33 years old. I was in the Army for 10 years where as I retired early after completing officer training. I served three tours in the Army, two in Afghanistan and one in Iraq working along some of the best soldiers in the world. I have always been very disciplined even more so when I joined the Army and went through my training to be an officer. I have always had an interest in law. Law was going to be main focus if I did not get into the Army as I believe everyone should be given an equal chance no matter their, colour, race, sexuality and so on. I think what makes me stand out above others is my dedication and hard working can do attitude. I don't give up easily. Everything I put my mind too, I always put in 100%, I am not scared to learn new things and will do my utmost to be able to achieve my goals. I always want to make the State of San Andreas a better place.

  • Dedicated, I chose this word, because I always have a can do attitude and am not defeated easily in anything I do. Everything I have encountered in this great state I have overcome to this point. I am also dedicated and willing to keep looking forward and not looking back in life. Yes, things did not work out for me at GSB, but I am always looking to keep pushing forward trying to find the right career for me. Something I will enjoy doing and have a sense of achievement in doing so.
