Axel diaz , 32 years old, born in San andreas -los santos , my mother died when I was 9 years old , and I have no brothers or sisters ,, so i lived alone with my father who was a soldier for the U.S army . Since a very young age , he taught me the importance of the respect and love we aught to give to our country . When I was 10 , on holidays , I started waking up very early and going with my father for his training , I just sat back and watched for the first couple of weeks , probably a month or two , i really liked the environment there even though it seemed like a very hard and exhausting job but what stood out to me the most are the country love and feelings you can even smell standing there , so , very soon after , I started training , you’d assume that the commander went easy on me as I was at least 10 years younger than the average soldier out there , but he really did not , he went just as hard if not harder after seing my energy and my will to train and work ,he explicitly told my father that I was made for this job , and things like that can only encourage me and strengthen my self esteem and confidence, So i kept on training and training until I got to an age in which I was allowed to join the army . Right at that time , I started looking back to my career and to me as a human and to my goals , and asked myself : Is that what i want to do for the rest of my life ? Being a soldier ? Just because I have the physical and psychological traits needed ?
I thought about it for quite a long time and got away with the conclusion that being a soldier is not in fact the job I want, but instead, my love and passion for this country and my physical and psychological strength would be better taken advantage of as a correction officer , because i feel like , I cant kill people in wars , I simply can’t , whatever the circumstances. I suffered myself from a very close family member dying who is my mother and I cant cause the same harm for any other human being , But what I would do is punish people for their mistakes and hopefully help them correct those mistakes and reform to become better human beings .
I will try to do my best with 10 min hours per week
I want to join the DOC because I believe in the importance of maintaining a safe and orderly society .I have a strong sense of responsibility and a desire to make a positive impact by helping individuals who have made mistakes. I should be hired because I am dedicated, reliable , and have a good understanding of the principles of law and order. I am also a good listener and I can work under pressure.
I handle pressure or stressful situations by staying calm and taking deep breaths.
I have good communication skills, which allows me to effectively convey information and collaborate with others . I am also a quick learner and adapt well to new environments and procedures.I am highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. I am a team player and work well in collaborative settings, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
