Traits & Motivations
I grew up in a small town near Columbus, Ohio called Pataskala and all my life I have wanted to be a soldier in the military or even just a detective that works on the investigation of crimes. I've always been the person to want to do something to help rather than sit on the side lines while the true heros risk everything. I went through schooling to become a police officer and then almost as soon as I was done with that, I went into the military to continue my path there. Everything I have ever done as been to help myself help others. That is just something I have always strived for. I've always been the type of person to stand up for the little guy or just over all try to help where I can.
I plan to spend as much time that I can inside the prison system because I would like to see it as a second family rather than just a 9-5
You should hire me over everyone because I have already sworn to defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I have already developed leadership experience and I have a set mindset when it comes to determination to succeed. I don't try a task once and see if I fail, instead, I keep at the task until I come up with the solution to succeed and I do not give up even when the problem hits back. I am a soldier that still follows their creed and I plan to die by the creed. Over every one else that may apply, I am determined to become a Corrections Officer and strive to be the best that I can at my job.
In the heat of the moment, I am able to push any sort of stress or pressure aside for the moment so that I can be on top of things when shit hits the fan. In a moment full of chaos, it is better to take action and fix the situation instead of panicking first hand. When the time happens, you have to be prepared for the worse and be ready for it at all times. I can't say that none of the situations I have been in doesn't bother me in the end because honestly, I have been through hell in some of my life, I just choose to fight back and do all that I can to help and defend my brothers and sisters to my left and right.
In my time in the military, I have became a leader and a very pro active member of society. As a leader, I do not ask of my piers to do anything I am not willing or able to do myself. I give them the same respect that I wish and rather than punishing them for small mistakes, I teach them how to better themeselves and not make those mistakes rather than making them scared to mess up again because fear does not make a leader, respect does.
I have learned that even when in rough times, I should not resort to crime. It is not who I am and it will not be who I become after this. I have learned that I have hurt people only because I am hurt myself. I wish to take it all back, but I can't. What I can do is be a better person than I was yesterday. Me being homeless now and not having much to my name made me lose track of who I really am. After my year in prison, I found who I am again and I plan to make things right by once more serving my country by protecting those in this city we live in.
Past Experiences
Yes, I have. In my last two years of high school I was in a technical school for Law Enforcement which in turn leaned me into the career path it. The I learned all the basics when it comes to medical attention, gathering evidence, and a lot when dealing with suspects.
After high school, I did not want to just settle for a basic level job as I am cut lose from the education system. I decided to enlist into the Army as a (19D) Calvary Scout so that I may be there in the dark as my brothers and sisters do so that we may provide the light for others to escape the darkness their in. As a scout, my main job was to go behind the enemy or territory that we did not yet control an paint the commander a picture so that they could make tactical decisions. It was also in my job description to be able to provide security and hold out against the enemy if needed. There would be times where I would be in a fox hole for hours just to ensure that no one that was not authorized got passed without our knowledge
Once my first contract has ended, I ended up changing my job to a Military Corrections Officer so that I could do something a bit more in country for awhile. As a Military Corrections Officer, I overseen Military Prisons to ensure that the prisoners that reside there are both safe and not doing anything that they would regret later. I guarded whole cell blocks by myself and communicated with the prisoners so that instead of them being hostile towards me, I taught them how to strive for themselves and tried to make the prison a learning experience for them so that once they get out, they could become better members of society.

Yes, everything in my characters back story is everything that I have been apart of myself. It seems like a lot, but my whole life I have involved myself around Criminal Justice and Military. I play this game to kind of take my experiences that I've learned and put it into roleplay situations so that I can have fun with others. I know a lot already on what is expected as a cop and just want to give other players a RP experience to remember. Some details in my backstory are a bit exaggerated, but only when it comes to the corrections officer part. I am actually reenlisting now to do that so being a CO here would seem kind of cool to also do as I do it IRL
