In Liverpool, Merseyside, I was born. I was raised in Liverpool until I was 8 years old, at which point I moved south. I attended college to study criminology for my A-Levels, after which I obtained a job as a security guard at a business named Oakland Security. As I grew older, I made the decision to go to San Andreas, Los Santos, where I worked at a mechanic's shop where I fixed vehicles and performed MOTs in order to establish myself after moving here from the UK. I met a nice woman in Los Santos when searching for my first automobile. She informed me that she worked at DOC and that it was a terrific place to work, which inspired me to apply after doing some research in the area and having a strong interest in efforts to rehabilitate offenders.
I plan to, at the very least, make my required hours each week. I plan to do more than that, but as a trainee I really just want to get a feel for the place.
You should hire me over someone else because I am dedicated and goal oriented. My dedication will show in the way I handle myself on the job and in the way I will treat inmates as well as my coworkers. I am a hard worker in general, but especially when it comes to my job as I see that as a personal reflection of myself. I already feel good about the Department of Corrections after talking to the lady at low end, and that inspired me to come here. I made the goal to apply and get into SADOC, and I'm doing just that. I'm prepared to put my nose to the grind and work hard to see what she sees in the department and hold it to the same standard.
I'd like to think I approach stressful situations with a calm head.
I have my gun license and am working on getting my Basic Life Support certification. I know having both of these will help in my time at SADOC as I will be able to treat not only inmates, but also my fellow coworkers. In conjunction with those qualifications, my knowledge of criminology will help me when interacting with the prisoners as I will be more able and willing to understand. I can also work to help them in their rehabilitation and looking at things from a different perspective.
