Moved to the city a few months ago from Seattle. Back in Seattle I worked mainly as an independant contractor with my father, doing all sorts of odd jobs and meeting people from many different walks of life, until he passed earlier this year. After taking over most of his contacts and trying to continue his business I just didnt have it in me and had to move away. With most of my work being hard labor and long hours it has molded me into the individual i am today. With those experiences i have grown into an extremely dependable and hard worker who can handle the most stressful of situations.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating to the department in the event you are hired?
I am in the City 5-12 hours per day. I Plan on dedicating 2-4 hours of each day to my DOC career. My Hours can be any time zone.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
You should hire me over other applicants because i have the determination and dedication to do what it takes to make the DOC a place where criminals can be fully rehibilitated. I have an understanding of how the criminal mind works and the kind of motivation they might need in order to make changes for the better in their life. The reason I want to be a part of the DOC staff is so that i can actually make a difference in this city and help the people that really need it. I hope to be able to climb the ladder through the DOC ranks and make a carreer out of helping people that are less fortunate or that are just down on their luck. I believe everyone gets a second chance and if i can impact a life through DOC and change someone for the better. then i would consider this life fufilled.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
Always being under pressure working for VIP clientel as an independant contractor has molded me to be able to deal with any high pressure situation with a calm collected mind.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (Minimum 75 words)?
Being an independant contractor we are constantly met with new and interesting situations. Our job was always to find new and inventive ways to solve whatever situation we were met with. I have had experience with Deescilation and just overall situational awareness. Always being prepared and ready for any situation is a valuable trait in any staff member and i have those traits grinded into my mind. If i am responsible for a shift or time. i will always be there and ready to work when needed.

What have you learned and changed about yourself since being charged with a felony/misdemeanor (Minimum 100 words)?
To be honest i got my felonly within a week of being in the city. I didnt fully have an understanding of what this city was and what it ment to be a part of it. Now after being here for a couple months and getting to know some people, doing freelance jobs, and just getting my feet under me in general, I get it. I want to make a change and be a real effect on the citizens here. I fully regret that 10 minutes i decided to speed past that traffic stop and theres no way in hell id do it again. I have so much more respect for the government and people that run this city after actually getting a taste of what is here. Like i said i fully regret that mistake i made when i was fresh in the city. but unfortunately it has devastatingly effected my chances of careers here. I hope that i can find a family and group to be a part of with DOC.

Yes, Before i Moved to town i was in charge of running teams of 10-15 that are working towards the same goal. I have experience with delegation and knowing how to get everyone on the same page working towards the same goal

What felony charges have you received, and what were the circumstances regarding it?
Felony Evading, Went through a break up with a long term girlfriend. Drove home from the bar and passed a cop going a little too fast. then i decided not to stop and when i crashed i got out and ran.
