2. Traits & Motivations
Danielle Young grew up in the beautiful and historically rich streets of Albany, New York. Her parents were killed by a drunk driver when she was only ten years old. Because of this, she was raised by her older brother, Samuel. He worked as a police officer for most of her life. They had a very close bond, considering they were each other's only family. This made it difficult for her to adjust when she left for college to get her degree in culinary arts. Danielle had just recently graduated college when her brother Samuel was shot on duty responding to a domestic disturbance call. Losing the last of her family changed Danielle. She was still the same person, loyal, dedicated, and compassionate, but her view of life changed drastically. She became depressed and started to question her values, beliefs, and even her purpose in life. She needed to find that purpose, and after a long while of searching, she finally did. Danielle realized that working as a corrections officer, helping criminals find their way to a better and safer life could help prevent more lives, like her brothers, from being lost. So she moved to Los Santos, to join the DOC, do good, and honor her brother's memory.
I originally struggled to find a purpose for a long time after I lost my brother. After spending almost a year in therapy to help fight the war happening inside my head, I decided that I wanted to continue my brother's work in preventing crime, upholding justice, and overall helping people. But I decided that to do that, I needed a fresh start. I know I am capable of doing whatever it takes to honor my brother's memory. While this is not my first time working here, I believe that my prior experience will be very helpful in the recruitment process. I am fully ready to commit and work harder than I ever have before. I think it's also important to note that I am an unusually big fan of paperwork.
I am not.
3. Past Experiences & History
I have worked for the DOC twice in the past. Both times add up to about 6-7 months total. I was a COIII during my last employment. As well as EMS as an EMT-B for a little while a few years ago.
