  • Dreams and aspirations of becoming a respected Judge lay before me, I appreciate that is many years off and an incredibly difficult goal but we should always start by aiming for the stars. In all sincerity, the main aim here to become a recognised and knowledgeable attorney. I'd like to think of myself as something of an academic, calculating a game plan and strategizing in order to obtain a specific outcome is my forte.
    
    I'm absolutely fascinated by legislation and its specifics. Vast arrays of paperwork and slow proceedings do not phase me and I'd feel a strong sense of pride by being permitted access to the justice system. There is an awful lot of trust placed in those who defend the rights of American citizens and also those who prosecute based on those same ideas and rights.
    
    This career is in my opinion a thinking mans game. Knowledge, careful planning and good presentation are I believe are some of the skills I will need to utilise if I am to be successful here.
    
    Patience has always been a skill I'd like to improve within myself and I believe I will learn this working for the Judicial Branch. Being able to demonstrate my well spoken nature and an ability to learn quickly is absolutely one of the reasons I have considered applying to join this organisation.

  • I would definitely describe myself as eccentric. I believe I have an almost pathological eye for detail and excellent written communication. First impressions absolutely count in a cut-throat corporate world, and it is my intention to impress.
    
    I am an individual with some life experience and as such I often understand other people's perspectives and believe I am a good judge of character. Mild mannered when appropriate and ambitious, I believe I have the personality traits required to succeed in this role.
    
    Even when things may not be going so well, I perform well under pressure and I can take criticism effectively from those I must answer to. I am a firm believer that if you are the most intelligent person in the room that you are definitely in the wrong room.
    
    I am extremely willing to learn and will absolutely dedicate myself to this career, I am very unlikely to be distracted by any other endeavours.

  • The word that best describes me is tenacious; I have actively been described by others as ruthlessly never giving up on an objective. I do not give up until a cause is truly lost, and I have never been accused of lacking effort. I am learning the art of patience which goes to strengthen this even further. A key part of "never giving up" is being patient and understanding that some things take time.
    
    I also think my ability to find other solutions to a problem rather than trying the same one repeatedly speaks to this. Banging your head against a wall to solve any problem is a little pointless, I like to try and change my approach to solving an issue if trying a specific thing isn't working.
