I place a high value on the safety and well being of others and I want a job that makes an impact on the individuals I come into contact with.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
One step at a time. Its that simple.

As much as possible. I plan on pulling 5+ hour shifts minimum.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I am able to use my past experience as a Corrections Officer with the Alderney State Correctional Facility to employ proper situational response and management when facing a crisis. Im aware of the parameters surrounding use of force and use of deadly force. Working close with other corrections staff such as officers, counselors, support staff and medical staff has provided me with a solid foundation for teamwork. The invaluable tools in my belt such as verbal skills, quick thinking and studious marksmanship coupled with reliability and my ability to work alone or with a team will make me an indispensable asset to the SADOC

I was born in Bozeman Montana on Jan 23rd, 1987. Both my parents are pharmicists who had immigrated from Mexico to escape government corruption and cartel violence. I grew up around guns doing activities like hunting and competing in local 3-gun matches. Aside from that, ive always been drawn to cars and really anything with a motor that can go fast. Father taught me to do the right thing and always trust my gut. I believe you get back in proportion to what you give, don't judge people or treat them badly unless they give you a reason to do so.

Why should we hire you over anyone else (minimum 100 words)?
There are many reasons why you should hire me over someone else. I will begin by saying that I can bring my life and professional experience from a previous career in the Alderney State DOC to the table and believe both of those would present me as an invaluable addition to the SADOC. I'm reliable from what im told, you can always count on me to show up to work and to be consistent in my performance. I desire the fulfillment that I feel would come with doing my part in the DOC to maintain its safety and integrity.
