• 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum)
  • I have always had a passion for law and a desire to practice it and teach it. As soon as I am accepted for this position, I am going to immediately apply for and take the bar exam. I am looking to be a professor at the University when they start accepting applications and I believe that the best teacher of a subject is one who actively studies or practices said subject. I enjoy reading historical case law, especially those that leave an opening for a possible change in ruling in the future. I am looking to leverage this position to aid in my teachings at the University, as well as provide my clients with the best legal representation that can be provided to them.
    
    Prior to moving to the State of San Andreas, I was a paralegal at a law firm in Vice City. I assisted with numerous cases, some of which--high profile--are still sealed or under gag orders. I never got the opportunity to sit at the table, however, I look forward to obtaining my bar license and sitting at the table with clients and colleagues. I additionally hope to inspire my future students to pursue a career in law and help clear out the backlog of cases awaiting trial.

  • I am Burke Callahan. I moved to the State of San Andreas after hearing about positions soon to be open at the prestigious University of Los Santos. I wish to become a Professor of Law at the University of Los Santos and as such, desire to become a bar-certified attorney before I obtain tenure. I am looking to establish a history of cases in which I have counseled and seek to provide valuable insight to my students, as well as excellent representation to my clients. By establishing a track record of cases where I have provided counsel, I will be able to provide valuable insight to my clients, colleagues, and academics. Through this unique combination of legal practice and academic dedication, I will make a significant impact in the legal community and contribute to the education of the next generation of legal professionals. I always have been and always will be passionate about teaching and learning and I look forward to doing so here.

  • Yearning. I have a yearning to learn about the law and teach law. I have always been fascinated by the vast ocean of knowledge before us all. The law has always been a subject that has piqued my curiosity, as it serves as the foundation of society. Without law, a society crumbles into anarchy. This deep-rooted fascination with the law has led me to view it as a vast ocean of knowledge and history; one that is endlessly fascinating and will never cease to amaze me.
