• 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum.):
  • Because I feel that protecting peoples rights in the court of law is one of the most important and impactful things you can do to help another citizen of Los Santos. My entire career at MD has been about helping others and I see JB as another outlet for me to do good for the people of this city. I have always had an interest in JB and have recently been attending many of the public trials and attained my BAR license. Now that I have said license I would hate to waste the effort it took to get. I have a goal to one day be a lawyer who is respected by everyone in the city for her diligence and hard work, and her desire to do her utmost best at whatever task she is given. My work at DOC has given me the opportunity to occasionally interact with members of JB and I was impressed by their professionalism and their drive to do write by their client. This is a mindset I can respect and a work environment that I would love to be a part of. I feel as I have left DOC that JB is my best opportunity to continue doing the good I hope I was doing while at DOC.

• 3.2) Please provide a short biography about yourself that highlights why you should be selected from other candidates. (150 word minimum.):
  • My name is Lisa Winter, originally from Detroit Michigan, at the age of 22 I decided to uproot myself from my home and move here to Los Santos. I started making a few friends working at Burgershot and driving for the local trucking logistics company, and while these helped make ends meet they were not satisfying in any other way besides financial gain. I had many opportunities during this time to resort to a life of crime and debauchery but instead I decided to take a risk and applied at LSEMS. It was at MD that i discovered my passion for helping people and I went into being an EMT with as much vigor and enthusiasm as possible. As soon as possible i applied to the BLS division and CRU division. It was here that I learned how much more people can be helped then just physical injuries as peoples mental health can be almost and sometimes more important then anything physical. Teaching BLS has become a passion of mine and I try to hold at least one or two classes each week where I impart basic life support skills to eager students. Eventually I wanted to try my hand at something a bit more physically taxing and joined SADOC and enjoyed myself immensely as I feel the core tenant of DOC is to rehabilitate not punish the inmates.

  • Compassionate. I feel this word best describes me as I am able to have compassion for anyone, whether I know them, they are a stranger, or they are a 10-15 who actively is being rude and aggressive towards me. This skill is so key to my ability to thrive as an EMT as it allows me to safely treat patients in places that may otherwise not be the safest place for a common civilian to be. It also means that i can be objective when dealing with someone who has done something or said something that I might not otherwise like, and put all of that aside and focus on completing the task at hand. Whether that be treating them for injuries sustained on a crime scene, or hopefully reviewing their file for an upcoming court case.
