- 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum.):
- I would like to work for the Judicial Branch to have the unique opportunity to help others and make a difference in their lives. Even more, through their day-to-day role of offering legal services in a diverse array of environments, lawyers can typically challenge themselves intellectually. Through these opportunities, lawyers may be able to serve as leaders and work toward societal betterment, which can be highly fulfilling, especially for those professionals interested in advocating for the public good. I want to be the change I'd like to see in the world by helping reshape this city with the current views towards the legal system. I have no set idea on exactly which side I would like to be whether prosecution or defense attorney. I think the process of training would help me feel out where to land on that spectrum. I have no experience currently, so I am an open canvas, willing to learn and emulate the best of the best in town. The multitasking, analytical and management skills that so many lawyers develop during their legal careers are often directly transferable to life skills and can be used outside of the job. I would use everything learned to learn and grow as a person and begin to challenge my intelligence and mind.
- 3.2) Please provide a short biography about yourself that highlights why you should be selected from other candidates. (150 word minimum.):
- I was always born a people person. I think when it comes to Judicial Branch doesn't manage items or things, they direct people. I've during my past learned how to win friends and influence people. I like to build rapport and constantly communicate. I think we lose faith in people when we do not communicate effectively. I am a big communicator and when it comes to the legal system, I think a swift direct approach to helping people go where they need to go is essential to build trust and longevity from clients. I am set apart from other applicants because I will do what no one else will do. I am willing to put the work in and be coachable and easy to communicate with while staying professional and always learning. I have no chip on my shoulder and understand there will be a big learning curve, Some may say that is a weakness, but I see an empty canvas as the potential to be molded into something great. People work for people.
- 3.3) Describe yourself in one word and explain why that word describes you best. (75 word minimum.):
- Determined - I find my self being one of the most determined people. I feel as if anyone could say that, But I will prove that, If I was declined for the job, I would reapply and reapply and reapply, just to be given a shot to prove my self. Once I am given a shot to prove my self, I will not disappoint the person who put there faith and trust in me to do the right thing. I come from a tough upbringing and one year ago when I moved to this city, I told everyone "Paul Sawyer soon to be Lawyer". I never once let go of that goal, and now is the time for me to show my ability to produce results.
