Answer My name is Chichi Rodriguez I came to the US in 2022 as an immigrant. I left my family 2 kids and a wife behind and now im here doing Gods work trying to bring them away from communism. In cuba I worked as a security officer for a school. I did that job for many years but my pay was 10 dollars a month barely enough for my family to eat. That is why i fled to try and get them out legally and give them the life they deserve. I have training in the security field and its been my dream to be able to work as a corrections officer.
How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I plan on working as much as possible and being committed to try and save as much money aspossible

Answer
Well for starters I have the work ethic. Coming from nothing you learn to give 100 percent in everything that you do. Id like to make an impact in the community and helping inmates rehabilitate is something i'm passionate about. Cleaner streets is great for not only society for the thriving of the city. I genuinely believe that if given this opportunity not only will i outwork my co workers but i will move up the ranks through investing time and wrok ethic.
How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
Living in Cuba everyday is pressure. Pressure to eat pressure to survive pressure to provide. Ive learned through hard times that managing stress and pressure is mental. I always take breath thnk before i react and make sure im 100 percent in control.
What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (Minimum 75 words)?
I have security experience while in cuba of over10 years . Ive also dealt with criminals while on the job. I try to be the alpha in the room and make sure inmates understand whose in charge in there. I achieve that through respect and through being fair.
