  • 3.1) Why are you seeking employment with the San Andreas Judicial Branch? (200 word minimum.):
    • As a former detective with years of experience in law enforcement, I am excited to apply for a position with the San Andreas Judicial Branch. I believe my skills and experience make me a strong candidate for this role, and I am eager to continue serving the community in this new capacity.
Throughout my career as a detective, I have developed a strong foundation in investigation, problem-solving, and communication. I have worked on a wide range of cases, such as but not limited to: homicides, burglaries, and fraud, and have consistently demonstrated my ability to gather and analyze evidence, identify patterns, and form logical conclusions. I have furthermore also honed my skills in interacting with victims, witnesses, and suspects, and built a reputation for being fair, objective, and professional in my approach in my previous career as a detective.
In addition to my technical skills, I also believe I am a a strong communicator and have experience working with diverse groups of people. I have been a member of various divisions and units, where I have had the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from different agencies and backgrounds.
I am excited to bring my skills and experience to the San Andreas Judicial Branch, and believe that I can make a valuable contribution to the Branch. The judicial system plays, in my view, a crucial role in ensuring that justice is served and that the rights of individuals are protected, and I am committed to upholding these principles. I am confident that my skills and experience make me very well-suited for a position with the San Andreas Judicial Branch, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve the community in this capacity.
  • 3.2) Please provide a short biography about yourself that highlights why you should be selected from other candidates. (150 word minimum.):
    • I grew up on a small Atlantic island on the Azores Archipelago, on the US Air Force base. His father served there, as an officer. The environment on the island was not the best, with myself having decided to move to Liberty City. After some time there with family, working off run-of-the-mill jobs, I decided to go West, winding up in Los Santos.
Ever since then, I have been trying to make an honest living here. But seeing the rampant crime, I decided I had to take a leap of faith and try to help the city the best I could, by applying to the Los Santos Police Department. There, I found success on several fields, receiving among other awards the Exemplary Field Training Officer Commendation Award and the Administration Commendation Award.
Besides the long career in the Los Santos Police Department, I also served in the San Andreas State Government in several bureaus, pioneering by taking a leading role in the creation of the Property and Housing Bureau, the Human Resources Bureau and the Public Works Bureau.
Up until recently, I served as a Corporal in the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and had done so for 9 months, dedicating myself to Human Resources.
Having been forced to leave the Department, I am still quite eager to continue serving the state in some capacity, and thing that with my extensive knowledge in the Penal Code and how organizations in the state operate, I could be a very valuable member of the SAJB.
  • 3.3) Describe yourself in one word and explain why that word describes you best. (75 word minimum.):
    • "Committed" is the term that in my view best sums up who I am and what my career has been. This word seems appropriate to me for a number of reasons, even if for others this might not seem to be the case.
First and foremost, my long career in law enforcement and corrections serves as a very clear testament to my commitment to my work. I've worked on a wide variety of situations, consistently demonstrating in each and every one of them my ability to assemble and review material, identify trends, and draw logical conclusions. This type of commitment is unusual in my view and I know very few people that share the same level of commitment as I do and demonstrates a strong commitment to both my career and the community.
Not only am I committed to my work, but I'm also committed to fostering relationships and partnerships among agencies. Not just that, I'm well aware of the importance of building relationships with other community groups.
For a former detective, this level of engagement and understanding is critical as it has enabled me to serve the community and defend the values of justice and fairness in an efficient manner. Overall, I feel the word "committed" describes me perfectly because it reflects both my passion for my profession and my commitment to the community.
I consider myself qualified and professional and believe that my commitment to upholding the rules of justice and my work make me an important asset to any organization, especially the SAJB.
