Donni Powers is a man of perseverance and dedication. It is no surprise that his qualities match much of his father's aptitudes, let alone in becoming a future public servant. The saying: "Like father, like son" is an understatement in the house of Powers. Donni is a reserved gentleman, but has his extrovert characteristics. He is energetic, yet very laid back. In any case, Donni upholds the law in every circumstance and is a very honest person, and still needs to be groomed in becoming someone with a little more "grit," as he already has enough wit. Although energetic, he sometimes needs to recharge his batteries and retreat to his book reading, especially reading about pirates and the sense of adventure. Donni is very attentive and very detail-oriented young man, but lacks the skills in making friends. Hopefully by changing careers, he could meet fine people like himself and explore the many pathways in what it means to be social and respected amongst his peers in his career and community.
Born into a strict military family in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA, as a single child, Donni has been well-groomed his entire life and walked the path of hardship. Donni has always followed his father's footsteps and heeded his every command from childhood to adulthood. His father and mother only want the best for him and wishes their son, Donni, would become a highly respected Naval Admiral just like his father. His father, Frank Powers, a highly decorated Naval Admiral, and his mother, Mary Powers, a decorated Field Medic in the Navy, have put a lot of time mending their son in becoming a clone of them. In contrast, his time together with his family (even with his father aggressively pushing for Donni's pathway in becoming just like him) could not have made it worse for Donni. It was only natural for Donni to rebel against his father wishes and turn into something else in the career field. Mr. and Mrs. Powers have worked very hard for Donni's future, to one day become like his father, a highly respected Naval Admiral. With a father and mother never home to spend much time with young Donni, and constantly working all the time, Donni has always read many books alone; usually of tales of a sense of adventure. He remembers a specific moment in his childhood when his family was never so busy; he misses that time dearly. As soon Donni turned 18 years old, his father pushed him to the Navy as a possible recruit, yet his father had no idea what was in store for him in the future.
After failing to listen to his own family's request in joining the military, Donni had other plans. Donni had other adventures designed specifically for him such as becoming a teacher, thus serving his country in a different way. For the past 5 years Donni has successfully taught middle school at Abraham Lincoln Junior High in Austin, Texas, USA. With that being said, Donni feels like he needs a change, but he has no interest in joining any military branch. So, Donni decided to train his body and mind to the level of a policeman. With an eagerness to join, Donni decided to commit to the gym and work on his reflexes and everything else that defines an excellent citizen. Furthermore, Donni saw an open position for a correctional officer job in the San Andreas Department of Corrections. He never dreamed of leaving his home state, but he felt the urge to restart in the state of California therefore immediately turning his entire attention on this new career and life switch. He promises to himself in becoming a loyal public servant to the people of Los Santos, San Andreas meeting their concerns and needs. After all, it is in Donni Powers' blood in serving his country, and that's exactly what he plans to do.
At least 1-2 hours per day is all I can offer for right now. Towards the weekend I can spare a bit more, like 3 hours per day at most.
I am applying to the the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I want to serve my country in an efficient way. And I firmly believe being a correction officer would be a great fitting for me and open a lot of doors for me in the future. I have an interest in providing law and order. In addition, I applied because I am hardworking and want to learn new skills, since I pickup information fast. It would also be an excellent opportunity to make new friends, since I do not know many people. With that being said, if hired, I would work diligently for an opportunity working with the San Andreas Department of Corrections and deliver justice to those who oppose it. I am a man who follows the rule of law and has a passion to inform/teach how to properly follow the law. I have a lot of patience and am very content and have a reserved personality, which would come in handy when dealing with trouble. It would be an honor serving in uniform. I am an honest man who wants nothing more than to protect his community anyway I can.
First, I take a deep breath and analyze the situation by scanning the scene. It is important to remain very calm in order to not alarm everyone and have them panic. I am a big believer in asking questions, which aids in tackling the issue at hand. Throughout careful investigation, I will come to a conclusion and handle the situation appropriately in a confident manner.
My valuable trait that I possess is following and upholding the truth and the law. I am a firm and honest person. I believe the rule of law is worth sacrificing one's life for and I am committed to protect and to serve. I think it is significant to inform the Los Santos community what it means to protect and serve the people, yet also upholding certain truths in the community such as respecting its hard working public servants. In essence, I want to not only protect my community, but also inspire/teach them in becoming something greater. Although growing up in a military household made me criticize myself harshly and search for perfection, I believe this flaw of mine could blossom into my calling in life.

I am a teacher in real life. I teach grades: 6, 7 and 8th grade. I've done a lot of paperwork as a student and teacher, so I am not afraid of grinding and showing that I am capable of my job. I work hard and play later.
