Traits & Motivations
Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
My name is Dallas James, I was born in Toronto, Ontario. At the age of 16 I became a lifeguard in order to support my family. My family consisted of me my mom and my brother. My dad died from cancer when I was 3, my mom worked as a cashier and had trouble supporting me and my brother. At the age of 18 I had saved enough to attend the University of Waterloo even while supporting my family. At the age of 22 I joined the Army as a officer for 2 years and then moved to San Andreas. I lived in the barracks and saved up money to send to my family. I also visited my family frequently during those three years by plane when I wasn't deployed.
I plan on dedicating most of my time in my life to advancing my career in the department. I will spend a lot of time and energy to improve myself as a Correctional Officer and to move up the ranks. I can also spend more than 5 hours a week on duty.
I want to join the Department of Corrections so I can help rehabilitate and reform prisoners, as well as keeping them safe from each other. I hope through communication and trust I can help the prisoners improve as people and stay away from a life of crime. You should hire me over other applicants because I am already trained and effective with firearms including safety of firearms. I am excellent in close quarters conflicts and as a lifeguard I had basic medical training to help victims with basic injuries until EMS could arrive. I am also very calm in stressful situations so I can respond quickly and effectively to any situation. I am also very skilled at communicating with people who are in distress or are angry. I also believe I should be selected because I have military experience as an officer after I graduated University, I understand hard work and discipline and I understand rank structures and respect for authority. I have also seen bad things and I'm mentally tough and prepared for anything being a Correctional Officer.
I do have a firearms license and I was in the military so I am proficient in all types of firearms and hand to hand combat. I also am a very good communicator so I can talk to prisoners in distress and talk them down. I can also assist with treating anyone's wounds until further help arrived. I am also mentally tough so I believe I am mentally prepared for the job. I am also in very good shape. I also got my degree in finance before joining the military.

The /me command can be used to display a character's behavior or outward expression of emotion as well as a action that can be performed but there is no animation for it in game.
Example: /me grips the handle of his rifle and gives the loud-talking man a disdainful expression as he stares at him.
/do is a command that is used to describe something in the environment or a injury to your player.
Example: /do There would be a strong smell of weed from the back seat of the car. Example 2: /do I would have a fractured leg and arm.
