Traits & Motivations
Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I am a 24-year-old male from Texas. I have come to Los Santos to pursue my dream and become a part of any legal group I can. In Texas, I was a cashier and loved my job. I left for a chance to pursue my dreams. My dad was a former sheriff and served 25 years becoming a sergeant. But after an evening on patrol, he responded to a robbery and he didn't come home. My father passed away from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and lost too much blood, and died before they could operate on him. I get up every day and want to try to become something of the law to make my father proud and hope I could make him proud in any way. I am not anywhere near perfect, but I always try. I love to be told I could improve on anything I do. I graduated straight As and tried and worked so hard to be the best. I have a younger brother and a sister but lost connection with them as they aren't great people. I truly believe I am a good pick for this program because of my experience and so much more traits. I do not quit no matter how hard it is but can conquer anything I put my mind on. I have loved helping people ever since I was a kid. I helped my mom and dad every day and I mowed my neighbor's lawns and did their dishes for nothing. I helped my school with dances and football games, being the best kid I could to help and stand out. I am setting my goal towards the Department of Corrections and will not give up until that dream is true. I hope I can make an impact on the city.
I am planning to dedicate as much time as possible and am able to.
After flying to Los Santos with my brother and sister, we’ve been dreaming of a brighter future. Back in my hometown of Texas, we’ve never really experienced a wealthy lifestyle. Being raised by a single mom, life was always rough. I and my brother swore that as soon as we grow up, we would make something out of ourselves, essentially working for that life we’ve been dreaming of ever since we were kids. I soon went to school and my brother did as well going our separate ways from each other we have never been that far apart and it was hard on both of us. Over my time gone, I have always wanted to be something within the law and going back to my father's death I wanted to make sure criminals learned their lesson and changed when their sentences is over. I have been inspired and now that DOC is recruiting I wanna join DOC and change the way criminals are and make them better people that is my goal if I get into DOC and I will make it a priority.
I handle stressful situations with composure and calm. You gotta breathe and keep your composure if inmates are fighting or hit you or another guard and with confidence if you don't have confidence going into cell block you are gonna struggle within the department.
I am very hardworking, determined, and also a nice, and respectful person. I will bring great joy to the workplace. I am not someone who gets scared easily. I will always do the right thing, I bring joy and smiles everywhere I go even in the cellblock I would. To me, I feel I can talk to someone and change their way of thinking and help someone get out of crime instead of continuing and that's a huge benefit to have.
