Traits & Motivations
Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I was born in Naples, Italy before I moved wit my family ta New York. We had a huge family dthre, too. Lots of people. Uncles. Cousins. Anyways, I got involved in the family business wit my uncle. It wasn’t that fun, but it taught me a lotta valuable life skills. Helped me get good with people, too. I eventually wanted ta strike out on my own, so I hopped a plane to Los Santos to start a new life. It ain't been easy; been doing a lotta freelance and shit. Pay sucks, but it keeps food on the metaphorical table. Still, I wanna do more with my life and make some more money.
As much as I can. I ain't as spry as I used to be, but I can say I'll give it my all. If you mean hours, I can say I'll meet the minimum of 5 hours or more a week.
I'm good with people. I've had family get in deep trouble with the law before. Makes me wanna be able to help people the way I couldn’t help them, ya know? I mean, everyone can’t be all bad, yea? Some people wanna change, dey just dunno how. I mean, some people ain’t got the same kinda benefits that the rest of us do. So, maybe I could help they grow while they're in prison, ya know? Like, we’re corrections officers, right? So we correct them, too. That means rehabilitation, yea? Now, I ain’t too learned and good with words, but I know people and I knows they all wanna self-actualize. Learned that from my cousin Paully. Dunno what it means, but I think it means everyone wants to make it in life. So, I wanna help people make it. All that is to say, I care about people. I've got a deep love for them from all walks of life. I ain't just wanting to do this to be on some power trip. I actually wanna make a difference.
I'm an Italian Catholic. My life growing' up was pressure an' stress. Especially at the Catholic school with them nuns. Ya just gotta learn to let things roll off ya back. Things ain't get to me as much as they used to. That's just the kinda stuff ya learn when ya get older.
Like I said, I'm good under pressure. I get that this job is gonna be stressful. We're not exactly working with the shiniest of people. In terms of experience, I've been in a managerial position before and I had to learn how to lead in a humble way. Not out of a place of power, but out of a place of respect for the human beings you work with. In this case, I suppose that would be the inmates. While they're not my equals in a legal sense, they are in a humanity sense.
More than that, I am a hard worker and pretty single-minded, or so I'm told. When I'm set on a task, I get pretty focused on that. So, you can expect that while I'm on the job, it'll be what I'm focused on.

This is an action that I am performing IRP that cannot be otherwise completed by in-game controls.
/me reaches into his pocket and takes out his license to show the mechanic.
This is when I am asking something rp-wise that isn't an action my character has completed yet. Or if I am describing an action that another player can take.
For example, if I was attempting to cuff someone, I would write: /do does he resist?
or
If I am walking through the street and a cop stops me, I could say /do He sees a knife strapped to Antonio's belt.
