Hello, I hope the MRD team is doing well this fine evening.
Recently the LSPD hosted the "End of Summer BBQ" community relations event, I was visiting the LSSD table had asked them to provide a comment. In return I received a wonderful statement both oral and written on the spot about there views of the event.
However and respectfully, the comments from the LSPD table where.... lacking at best. I understand officers are afraid to speak to media without authorization but anything of substance would have been of more helpful at communicating the LSPDs intentions. Instead, I find myself requesting a comment through this official process.
I pose the same question I posed to the the LSSD, GOV, and MD tables.

"What message or information is the LSPD looking to share this evening by having a spot at the tables, and does the LSPD have a comment to share about the event?"
Seeing as this question was specific to the event, if the community relations command staff who hosted it wish to provide the statement, I feel that would be more beneficial as the story will be directly about the aforementioned event.Thank you for responding to this inquiry.
