- After high school I enlisted served in the United States Navy for 8 years, attended officer candidate school and achieved the rank of Lieutenant while working on a path toward becoming an Judge Advocate General. I earned my Juris Doctor Degree at Los Santos School of Law and Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University in Riverhead, NY. Since graduating from Los Santos School of Law, while awaiting the reorganization of the Los Santos government's Judicial Branch, I have done freelance work in the form of fishing, worked as a delivery driver for Go Postal as well have been employed at Paul's Farm. Performing these jobs, especially working on the farm, takes a great deal of work ethic, focus and dedication.

- SECTION 4 - LONG RESPONSE
4.1 Why do you want to be employed with the Judicial Branch? (75 WORDS):- I would like to be allowed an opportunity to make a difference within our Judicial System in Los Santos and take part in implementing necessary changes to create and maintain an effective and balanced court system, which is currently lacking in our community. I firmly believe all citizens should have a right to fair and impartial judicial proceedings and be afforded attorneys to represent them in various cases ranging from small claims to criminal defense. I am confident that these changes would contribute to a decrease in crime and recidivism rates within our communities.
- First, I would say that no one can have just one most valuable trait. As such, I believe that for myself being both assertive and creative together are the best traits that I possess to be an effective legal representative. Being assertive allows me to express my own and other people’s rights, wishes, needs, and desires while remaining respectful in responding to others with differing ideas. And, creativity gives me the ability to find unique solutions to the wide variety of issues within our community.
- The first changes I would like to see in the city are criminal justice reform and improving police and community relations as I see and hear far too often stories of inadequate policing, lack of proper investigations, and unfair judicial practices and sentencing guidelines. Second, I believe adding more opportunities for citizen-owned and ran businesses such as restaurants and lounges that are open all the time would provide more interactive job opportunities for more of our citizens while stimulating the city's economy.

- Yes, I have received a few minor speeding tickets in the city, most of which were issued while my cruise control was not in working order. It has since been repaired and haven't had any since.
- My name is Aurora James. I was born and raised on a farm in rural Riverhead, New York. Following high school, I enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably for 8 years. While enlisted, I attended officer candidate school while following a path toward becoming a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer. After reaching the rank of Lieutenant, I decided not to reenlist and instead chose to return home, help with the family farm and pursue criminal justice and pre-law as a civilian. Shortly after obtaining my degree in criminal justice, my grandfather passed away and the family farm was sold at auction leaving no reason for me to stay. Having been stationed on the west coast and enjoying the atmosphere, I decided to relocate to Los Santos and studied to obtain my Juris Doctor Degree. With little use for the degree in the city, I chose to return to my roots and became employed at Paul's farm. I have maintained regular employment there along with some side occupations including delivering packages for Go Postal, driving the city bus, as well as fishing for some extra income. I believe I would be a good candidate for the SAJB because of my many levels of experience in leadership, teamwork, integrity, accountability, as well as the ability to adapt to overcome difficult and continuously changing situations. It takes a great deal of dedication to become a naval officer and I plan on putting the same dedication and hard work into helping improve SAJB.
