Hello, and thank you for your time to review my request.

As I continue to work on my article regarding the LSPD and the failure to identify policy, I would like to receive some clarification on when a law enforcement officer is or isn't required to provide their badge number when it is requested by a civilian. I have been told by some officers that it is required to be provided whenever requested, and I have also personally witnessed officers refusing to give their badge number when requested.

Any insight or policy you can share with me on this topic would be most appreciated. Thank you again for continuing to keep Los Santos safe!
