Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
To start off, I was born into a loving, Asian household in Brooklyn, New York. My father was a hard-working professor at New York University for twenty-seven years, and he even went into stock-breaking just about till the end of his life. My mother worked in social services amongst many rehabilitation clinics for many years, giving birth to myself and two other children. With a decent support system, I developed as anyone else did. I mentioned before that I always stressed my grades all the way until I graduated. I kept my nose clean from law enforcement, but I had fun in the streets when I grew up, too. I could sit and tell stories all day, but it all just boils down to the cultural exposure I was lucky to take in. I understand how people try to differentiate one from another, but I also keep it in mind that we are all cut from the same cloth as people. I've been out of college for around seven years now, and I feel like I could be doing more for myself and the community. I think I could be an asset for the public defenders, more specifically Los Santos Police Department, by dedicating myself and my virtue to the community all the time. I've taken the time to debate and understand that I am becoming something bigger than myself, and it has only made me more excited with the intent to do well. With my background and mindset, I will be the next best SADOC officer.
I plant on dedicating most of my time and effort into this job since it is my dream to join SADOC and i want to put effort into it.
I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I personally feel that I align with the values held by the DOC. I also want a way to give back to the community, and very few opportunities to give back are as impactful as helping rehabilitate inmates as well as helping them get set up for the future. Also, I have heard that joining the DOC is like joining a big family, which further draws me to become a member of the DOC. As far as why you should hire me over other applicants, I believe that not only do my traits lend themselves to being a productive member of the DOC, but also allow me to be very flexible. I do not have any previous experience with law enforcement, which may seem like a negative at first glance; However, if one were to look deeper, they would find that that means I do not have any bad habits to break. In addition, that also means that the DOC can mold me into the person they need and teach me the right way of doing things, with greater ease.
I try to stay calm and handle the situation in a professional manner.
I have been fortunate enough to have been able to develop many positive traits in my life. Some of the traits that stand out the most are; being highly motivated, having intense passion, being a lifelong learner, the ability to lead effectively, and the ability to quickly connect with people. All of those traits help form a well rounded and very adaptable person. One trait that people often overlook is the ability to quickly connect with people, I believe that that trait is extremely important due to its ability to establish trust and rapport with others in a timely fashion.
