Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
I was born on the 16th of January 1990 In the south of Toronto which is a city in Ontario. I saw a lot of nice people and loved the place as a kid because at Christmas time everywhere looked so nice and beautiful my family loved Toronto a lot. Many people were nice which made the community not so bad so you didn't have to worry a lot of the time or be scared of people you didn't know. Due to this Toronto was a very nice city and the cops were the best and at the age of 11, we moved to America, New York City. And started a new life there.
My mum who originally didn't have a job in Toronto worked at the taxi company and my dad who was originally a shopkeeper was an accountant so we were decently wealthy and New York City was a lot better but as good as it was there were a lot of racist people there but I refused to let them ruin my day or anyone’s day. Only 1 year later after we moved my mum was out working and someone put her in a state where we think she wouldn’t make it. Day after day I and my dad were worried up to the point where we thought she wouldn't make it. The taxi company helped us with money because she was a well-known person there and after 2 months she finally made it she was alive, the sad part was we never found who did this to her. From that point onwards I was afraid to leave my house day after day worrying about what might happen but I got advice that changed my life “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”. After hearing this advice I looked at life a lot differently.
In the event, I am hired I plan on putting a lot of my time and energy into the job. No matter what it is though I would put 100% effort into the job and goal I'm trying to achieve.
I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I want to make a change in the city. When a person convicted of a crime walks I still want them to be happy and have a good life. Depending on what the Duty's I would be given in the event I am hired I still want them to be happy and make them believe they can have a second chance at life.
I believe you should hire me over other applicants because I have great teamwork experience. Making friends in my job is very important to me, so I believe if I was hired I can make friendships and let other people have better relationships, I have excelled in great teamwork because I used to work at a store in NYC where it was very crowded all the time I was able to achieve that goal it would make everyone happier and have a better time in their job and out of there
Personally, I believe I handle stress in a very effective manner. For example, if I was under pressure I don't let it get to my head and panic, I still achieve the goal that has been set for me. Stressful situations have not really bothered me as I still perform very well under them. But if the pressure does get to me I would remove myself from the situation as long as someone else can cover for me until I am fit enough to continue with my job.
Some of my personal traits and qualifications would be:
As said above I believe my teamwork trait can help the SADOC very much in making sure everyone has a better time in their job, I personally believe that if you are not having fun at your job then you should not be working there. I also
During my time In New York City, many people would be in bad situations because the city is massive, and because of this, I have developed the skill to be a very negotiable person. Talking someone down from a bad situation would help me and other people around me. With this specific skill, I feel like many people would start to be honest with me and that would help the department with numerous things from getting jobs done quickly and making good relationships.
Last of all-knowing what type of person someone is without having too much knowledge of them. In New York City you never knew who you were gonna talk to, because of this I am now a great judge of character but I wouldn't make my judgment straight away. Even if I made a judgment I would stay unbiased, even if I think the person is bad.
