I moved here from Glasgow after serving Military Police for several years. I left because of many issues mainly because I did not like the way I was treated within the military and things did not work out with my wife. Since moving to Los Santos and seeing the crime rate being all so high, I decided I would put my skills to work whilst also helping inmates who have not had the best start to their life. I worked as a postal man and a farmer since coming to the city and none of those worked out; just was not for me. Family wise my parents are still in Scotland living in Glasgow and since joining the military I haven’t talked to them an awful lot nor my wife.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
I plan on funneling almost all my energy into this job.

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
Like I said before I want to make use of my skill set and, I have a soft spot for inmates and feel the need to try and protect whilst helping their future. Not only this but I feel as if this job suits me as I was in the military police for several years. The DOC would also be a new chapter in my life as I have never tackled something like this, and I love to try new things. This will also allow me to meet new people I haven’t met in the city as I don’t know an awful lot of people or have many friends so I’m always looking for new people to meet. I feel as if my military back ground and my soft spot towards inmates will allow me to connect with inmates and be able to have similar interests with them from the fact I’ve experienced bad things within my life and thus allows me to see things from their point of view and understand their feelings.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
My military police background has trained me not to crumble under pressure and always be alert of threats. Whilst also maintaining a cool calm collective manner.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I have 13 IGSCE’s with all of them being A* to C, those include, Math’s, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English literature, P.E, Economics, Geography, History, Design and Technology, Art. I have 5 A-Levels, Math’s, English, Physics, Biology and P.E . From there I got a master’s in mechanical engineering at Edinburgh University. In the military I graduated as an MP officer and served several years gaining many promotions and eventually got an honorable discharge at the rank of Major-General.
