Please provide a short biography about yourself (minimum 100 words):
Hi, my name is Owen, a sort of new resident to Los Santos. I moved to the US a while ago from the UK in hope for better employment and life opportunities to gain. So far i have settled in very well and got to meet a few people. I have really enjoyed my time in LS but i am looking for work and a decent living as at the moment i am just travelling around looking for new opportunities and things to do. I have been brought up by a kind family that supported my decision to move to the US in hope of a different and more diverse future to what the UK could offer and so far life for me has been pretty good.
I am unemployed at the moment so a job would mean the world to me and help me get around a bit more and help me earn a living. Its the main reason why i moved to Los Santos so in terms of dedicating time to working the prison i have a lot of time to spare to put into work. I can work 1 to 8 hour shifts a day and weekly i estimate above 18 hours perhaps.
I took a tour of the prison to take a look around and see what the prison officers get up to on a day to day basis and it really intrigued me and it might just be the work that i am looking for. In terms of why you should hire me, i have a Crystal clear criminal record with 0 offences and i own a fire arms permit which gives me some what knowledge of knowing self defence with weapons but i would love to learn more. I have a drivers licence for trucks and standard cars so i am qualified for driving different types of vehicles if required and personally i am quite good at talking and co-operating with people which gives me good communication skills.
Depends on the situation. If things are getting out of control the best solution is verbally try to resolve things and communicate to take care of a stressful situation and take things step by step to prevent panicking and making mistakes. Overall that is what i do for a lot of things. I plan, improve and take it step by step, and resolve any issues i have. I also think its always good to assess a situation and the different outcomes before improvising so i can think of better solutions to problems to make everything more smoother and get the best end result.
I have great communication skills that have helped me meet new people in LS and i believe they can help me with this job position as dealing with prisoners can be tricky as some may be rowdy and a bit more complicated to deal with and the first best solution to deal with them is communication skills and negotiating. I have also had some experience with my pistol that i have a firearms permit for so i know the basis of self defence which will really come in handy when on a job like this. In terms of other traits my licence for cars and trucks can come in handy in case i need to drive a range of vehicles for certain situations and circumstances. My most important trait i have though is cooperation as my skills to cooperate lead to me learning faster, obeying rules and regulations, and being more in sync with what is required from me to be in the role of a prison correctional officer.
