  • D1. What motivates you to apply for the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department? How has your experience with law enforcement, specifically the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department been, prior to this application? (Minimum 200 words)
    • I have always been driven to the duty of protecting others. Before my time in security, I was in the United States military. Army Ranger Captain 2nd Battalion 75th Regiment. Saw some rough stuff over seas but what made it all worth it was protecting my loved ones at home. Protecting our country. I gained tactical knowledge and experience as well as learned how to work as a unit. Comms training, even extensive vehicle training made my time in the military challenging but also extremely rewarding. When i finally got back to Texas, I needed to try something a little slower paced for a small breather to adjust back to civilian life. I spent a few years at the corporate park which was a breeze. Then when i moved to Texas Star security I got to put some of that military training to use as we actually did serious private security contracts, some military sub contracting, and much more. It was a shame to have to leave that company but I just needed another change. I think being a Deputy for the Sherriff's Department is that change that I need. I get to keep protecting those in need and serving my country domestically. I'm well trained and ready for any kind of emergency response.
  • D2. What practical skills have you acquired that could be beneficial to the department? What inspired you the most to apply? (Minimum 150 words)
    • The skills that I have acquired start in the military. I have exemplary marksman skills and training in all weapon types. Extensive tactical training in a multitude of different scenario types. Physical conditioning and situational awareness have been burned into my brain which ties directly to a deputy's responsibilities. I was also trained in the operation of many different kinds of vehicles included but not limited to cars, trucks, offroad Humvees, some construction rigs, armored vehicles, etc. My security jobs have just expanded on those elements. I think that is what has inspired me so much to apply for this position. I'm very well equipped to make a difference here at home and keep the community safe. It would be a waste to not put this skillset to good use and assist the other hard working deputies on the force. This town can be a crazy place and I see how hard the rest of SD works to try and tame the tide of criminal activity. I want to help and do my part to keep our home as safe as we can.
  • D3. Where do you see yourself within the department if you were to be accepted[? Which division would you be interested in: investigations, patrol, special enforcement, highway enforcement, or administration? (Minimum 120 words).
    • I see myself starting out on on patrol or highway enforcement. Just to get my feet wet in the department and set a base to move up eventually. Ideally I would end up working towards Investigations or Special Enforcement. I think my military training and private security contracting make me an exceptional candidate for those departments. I thrive on critical thinking and problem solving which would be a huge asset in investigations. I am dedicated and unwilling to rest until I see results which would also be a huge plus for that role. Special Enforcement would be much mor tactically rewarding and in line with my military training however, I don't see myself in this department forever. Investigations feels like a much better fit for me long term.
  • D4. Please provide a brief biography of your life and your experiences in San Andreas. (Minimum 250 words).
    • Since I moved to San Andreas, things have been pretty wild to be honest. I was lucky enough to be able live off of my savings until now so I have been able to explore extensively. The city downtown was interesting compared to my life in Texas. It's busy and loud and full of crime. I see the street racers, the bank robberies, and the shootouts that occur there almost every single day. I have seen PD struggle to keep it together at times. I have also seen SD Deputies come to save the day. Which has been a huge factor to me spending more time north of the city. I spent some time working on Road Crew here and there. When i couldn't stand that I tried trucking next. That's what led me to explore north of the city. I got to start delivering products to the Grand Senora Desert, Grapeseed, and Paleto way up north. I got a chance to cruise all the highways and get my bearings. I've learned to love the beautiful desert of Sandy Shores and the surrounding mountains. It's so reminiscent of my time in Texas and makes me feel a bit more at home. I've had amazing experiences with friendly SD Deputies and Bayview Mechanics which means a lot in a place as big as San Andreas. Since moving up north, I spend quite a bit of time fishing, mining, and panning for gold. It's been a nice vacation from responsibility but I am ready to start protecting the place I have grown to love.
